The dealership was great. Cedric Lee was a good sale person. He took his time and showed us the options, what was available, and ultimately the car we purchased. The staff was good, pleasant and inviting. Offered drinks, popcorn, and a place for the kids to hang out. All good.

I had a 10am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I was in there right on time and left the dealership at noon. It took 2 hours for this very simple service. What’s the point of making an appointment if it is not going to be honored by the dealership? This dealership continues to disappoint in every way possible.

I take full responsiblity since I didn’t go over the paper work fully. They will take advantage of you if your not fully aware especially with used cars. Buyer beware of this place they don’t fully disclose info when selling used cars. Make sure you get the full print out of the CarFax. Again my fault but burn me once shame on me. This place will never get my business and I will make sure to tell anyone and everyone about the shady practices. Beware of the salesman named Eric.

Set up an appointment today with a gentleman that appeared to sincerely want my business. He followed up several times to make sure I would be on time for the appointment. Once I arrived and checked in I waited around for about 15 minutes. The receptionist asked me if anyone had talked to me yet. «Not yet»…
She apologized and called the business manager. He came out and explained they were short handed. He found another sales rep that appeared to sincerely want my business. I told him what I was looking for and he said he would go get the vehicles. 15 minutes later I told the receptionist I would come back when they were not so short handed.
She apologized and called the business manager again. He came out told me the 2^nd sales rep went to the back to get the trucks. I walked back to the back lot to save some time. No one back there.
Waste of time and gas… My advise is to find another dealership that appears to sincerely want your business.

This dealership should be closed. I have a son as well as three friends and family members who have been lied to by this dealership several times. They will tell you you are approved for financing, and send you home telling you to come back a few days later to sign the papers and when you arrive, they continue to tell you you have not been approved. My only thoughts on this is when they are busy they want you save the customers who are not going to spend as much money for later. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered.

If I could give zero stars I would. We told the salesman what we wanted. We wasted 5 hours of our life up here. Very unprofessional. They will never earn my business.

i just wanted to update this. I never went back to this dealership, like i said. I did promise buy another vehicle from the sister company so here is another review.
I came in last month to buy an Arcadia for my wife from Lexi Roberts. I had nothing but great service from her and the staff. They were all very nice and I told them I would Come back and buy another truck in a month. Well less then two weeks later I came back! I bought a new truck like I promised! Again they were all awesome. Glenn and Lexi were very nice and they sure did go above and beyond once again. The reason I went To this dealership is because the sister company in Buford gave horrible service. Frank the sales manager at Rick Hendricks Chevy in Buford is very rude and does not know how to treat loyal customers, even if it bit him in the ass. I would of bought two more vehicles from him but he is a total num nuts and needs a good kick in the rear end realize what he did wrong. He needs some Major training. I have bought several vehicles from that dealership and he personally ruined my loyalty to them. I hope they give Lexi Roberts his job, I really do. She deserves to move up I will continue to use the Duluth GMC branch from now on. I also promise that I will be back to buy some more work trucks from them in the future due to the great service and quality of leadership at that branch. One thing that was exceptional was that hey bought me a burger when I had been waiting for several hours. I had no issues with waiting because they were working as fast as they could and I was being picky on vehicles. That was great on their part because the burger was great but it meant more then just lunch. It gained them future business not just because of the delicious burger but because of the way we we were treated from day one! Thank’s Lexi Roberts and Glenn

Very happy with my 2015 Camaro purchase from Rick Hendrick Chevy Buford. Salesman Sandy Fordham was excellent! Told him what I was looking for and he got me exactly what I asked for. Super easy process! Didn’t feel pressured or rushed. Go see Sandy for your next car purchase. I recommend him!

Some mysterious number called. When I called back they said that they had to discuss a very serious matter about my automobile. Thinking it could be the bank I held for 20 minutes. Finally this lady picks up and tells me that she can’t talk with me until I can verify my number. Even that took a while because there was a glitch with their system. After another 5 to ten minutes, I find that it was a cold call from Rick Hendrick Chevrolet
One time I gave them a $ 30,000 deposit on the promise they would get a car in and after two weeks asked for my money back and they gave me a super hard time…
They are a big box store, very unprofessional. Real jerks. For a hundred dollar difference I would rather go somewhere courtious and professional. Where they make you feel good about spending $ 65,000 for a truck. In plain language they suck…

Brought my GMC Sierra in with an electrical issue. Chevy/​GMC policy prevents the guys from doing warranty work on my truck — BUT — Larry Hecht went above & beyond to help me resolve the issue & find someone who could properly repair my truck.
Great guys here at Hendrick’s! Especially Larry!!!

Update: Car was not done the following week as they promised. Told me it would be done Tuesday, I pulled up at 6pm and they had just started putting the stripes on, so I had to sit around and wait for another 30 minutes. During this time they informed me that the body work had been done for weeks, but they were just waiting on the stripes to get shipped in. After the stripes were put on, I inspected the car and realized they had not put the Camaro name plate on the front fender. So the car had been in their possession for 3 weeks and no one realized the name plate was missing. They told me to come in the following day to put the name plate on. I called in advance the following day and they informed me all the technicians had gone home for the day. The following day I arrive and they have one of the customer service people apply the Camaro name plate. He asked me to supervise to make sure it was put on straight.
This entire experience was miserable. Do not use this dealership.

From start to finish, Rick Hendrick’s Buford dealership has been the best car buying experience I have ever had. Though we would have preferred the 2015 Stingray, practical sense took over and we ended up buying a 2015 Surburban LTZ. Aaron, Logan and Derick were our Sale and business team members. Everyone on the sales team was super nice and accomodating. No needing to haggle or play games here. They knocked it out of the park on both pricing and financing compared to local Chevy and Cadillac dealerships. I would reccomend this dealership to all of my friends and familly.
However, the service department is HORRIBLE! My wife went over yesterday to have a few itmes handled. The «detail» guy was standing right outside the car SMOKING! I don’t have any problem with anyone smoking, just not right outside my brand new car! This was crazy! Even crazier, his manager, Billy, was standing right next to him the whole time! When my wife confronted them about this issue, they were dismissive and short with her. The employee who was smoking was not only not apologetic, he was rude!
So, needless to say, we won’t be coming back to service our vehicles here. Sorry, RH, my 5 star review just dropped to 2 stars in the blink of an eye.

HORRIBLE! The management is AWFUL! They went back on their word several times and then lied about a vehicle not being available when it was! DO NOT go here! Find an honest dealer!

This review is for the Collision Center at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet.
After a minor accident that left the hood of my 2003 RAV4 scared, the bumper cracked, and deep paint abrasions in all over the front, USAA recommend I bring it to the Rick Hendrick Collision Center to have them repair it.
After speaking with the service representative, Andy, for several minutes he concluded that they could repair everything with both new and used parts for under $ 1500.
They had the car for 2 weeks, although the labor time took less than that because this was through the Christmas and New Year holidays. Andy remained in constant contact with me about their progress and gave me updates as to when he believed it would be finished.
When I went to pick up the car, I was speechless at how new the car looked. They replaced the entire bumper, replaced the front lights, and gave her a new coat of paint.
Car repairs are never cheap, so I can’t knock them on the price and I actually have to give them thanks for their generosity regarding the cost as well. They could not have done a better job at restoring my car.

The sales manager Mike is incredibly RUDE! His attitude is likely indicative of how he treats his employees and other customers as well. The cars on this lot are the EXACT same cars on every other car lot in existence. Mike needs to remember this very true reality. I will be taking my business to a more customer-​service focused dealership.

They have more Corvettes than I have ever seen in one place.
