Michaels

This is the MOST TERRIBLE. Place to work. The way the managers treated us were terrible. As part of management I have never seen such shady and illegal stuff being tossed around. The logic they have for treating their customers is just wrong and I will not shop there because of the horrific way they treat their employees. Go to hobby lobby. There’s a reason why their company is better.

Nice and clean. Easy to find items you’re looking for. There is always a sale on frames. Staff is friendly from what I can tell. Compared to Hobby Lobby they have fewer selections.

Went on a Sunday not to long after store opened. I was so upset with the way my shopping trip turned out. First thing, walked in and 2 store associates looked right me and neither one said hello welcome can we help you NOTHING! So I’m walking around trying to find what I needed I’m having a rather hard time so I walk up to another store associate he sees me about to ask a question he turns and walks off. Some of the things I needed they didn’t carry and it was normal craft items! But the few items I did find were so expensive I would not pay that price for them. Still no one ever spoke I walked past several people to me this is not how you should act in the retail business. I have worked in retail many years I know how you should act and that you should always put customers first. As a store associate you should smile, be cheerful, ask customers is there anything you can help them with, if your not going to be helpful and at least act like you enjoy your job then quit. I have never had such a bad store experience! I’m not one to get upset about stuff and I most time do not say anything negative about things but this needed to be pointed out. I do not plan on returning I will take my business to hobby lobby where I know it will be appreciated.

Great location = easy parking. Bright, clean store, very well organized, and jam packed with all your crafting supplies.

This Michaels is a standard format store in size and layout, but because it is tucked away in a fairly empty plaza, it is never as busy as other in town Michaels locations, so it is easy to park and navigate the well stocked aisles.
I haven’t had much interaction with associates on the sales floor, but the cashiers are adept accepting smartphone coupons and are friendly and reasonably fast even when processing larger orders.
