I went to this place with 4 adults and 2 kids on a Friday night around 7:00pm. The place was not packed, but they were some what busy. We chose to sit at the dine-in tables because we were planning on having some sushi instead of the hibachi. We ordered 10 rolls and 2 hibachi plates. We had 2 servers, and it times it was confusing because it seemed that the two were not communicating. For example, the younger lady would take our order and walk away to take care of it. Then 5 minutes later, the older lady who seemed to be a manager type came up and asked us again almost as if she was double checking the work of her employee. It was alright the first time around, but she continued to double check the younger employee’s work, it became annoying almost. Now on to the food, the hibachi was about average and was served hot. The problem was with the sushi, which took the longest to serve. When we arrived the place had customers and it was light out, by the time we left we were the only ones there and it was dark out. We ordered 10 rolls, and it seemed they brought out 2 rolls every 10 – 15 minutes. What was the complete down fall was that I ordered the Atomic Roll and it was brought out to me cold when it is supposed to be a baked roll. This was brought to the attention of another ‘manager’ when he came around to ask about our meal. They offered to heat up the roll, but at this point we were already disappointed with the meal. To make matters worse, the ‘manager’ tried to play off that the roll that was on the plate was not their Atomic Roll. In the end, the customer service was good, I can’t say much about the hibachi, and the sushi was just alright. They should consider hiring another sushi chef, or just don’t go there when they’re busy or somewhat busy.
