Discount Tire Store – Buford, GA

Just got my new tires and wheels installed in Buford on my sons Camaro had to order them custom took a few weeks they came in and were put on properly everything worked out good service was good David was my service advisor and took good care of me I’ll be back keep up the good work

This location is legit. The customer service is outstanding and the price is fair. Our first experienced there we had a tire with low pressure and they found debris in and repaired at no cost. I thanked the guy and asked what the cost would be and he said no cost, just come see us when you need new tires. I did just that for our other vehicle. They are knowledgable and helped me understand tire care. I highly recommend them.

Wow, if every place had customer service like this place did, I would probably hate people less than I usually do.
I picked this place based on the reviews on Unilocal and placed my appointment on their website. I also did my research and picked out the tires I wanted during the process, which made it much easier instead of being unprepared when I arrived at my appointment. When you pick your tires on their website, you also get the cost, so you know what to expect once you go in.
Right when I stepped into Discount Tire, everybody was very friendly and I think Doug (?) was the one that helped me (think Old Spice commercial guy). Anyway, to be honest, I also really liked this place because they kept the inside very cool and air conditioned; Georgia weather has been miserably hot and some places get really cheap with their A/​C. I swear, as I was walking to the entrance of Discount tire, I wiped the sweat off my upper lips and it felt like I wiped off my «mustache» like it had Nair on it.
So usually, the wait time for changing tires is around 45 minutes, but they got mine done in about 25, which is a huge plus because I didn’t want to sit around and pick my nose any longer (just kidding). Plus, they have a seating area in front of a glass window so you can see the employees working on your car.
FYI, this place can get packed. People usually see that as a con, but come on, if that many people are coming here, this location is doing something right.

Was kind of in a bind when I came in earlier today. I had hit a pot hole the night before and blew out my front tire and bent my rim. Had the rim fixed elsewhere but purchased two new tires here. Chris was AMAZING! Excellent customer service… catered to my needs, set me up an appt and got me in and out during my hour lunch break! Will be coming back. Thanks Chris!

Fast and friendly service! I saw a set of tires online with great reviews this location didn’t have in stock he said he can get them and asked for my name and number. He called back in 10 min saying the tires are on the way! Appt was set and I didn’t have to pay anything before they got the tires in. Now I’m a customer for life.

Great pricing and good timing. I’m only giving 3 stars due to my 2 experiences here. The first time I walked in, I was completely ignored. Keys in my hand and everything. I guess the distracting factor was that my father walked in with me. The guy at the counter ignored me, and after waiting for him to finish with a customer, he doesn’t acknowledge me, but does so to my dad. He continued to talk solely to my dad… I was there for my car and my father’s car. I paid for tires for both of us. When it came time for payment, he once again asked my father about it. Ummmm excuse me… the person you ignored the entire time, the chick over here is the one with the money.
Long story short, I came back because they have great pricing. I made an appointment but I was running late I called them and they said that there wouldn’t be any hold up and I’d still have a great turn around time. I had to go to work right after the rotation and stuff. I arrive, their busy. When I was getting taken care of my wait time was an hour and a half (so much for that alleged great turn around i was promised on the phone), the lady next to me who arrived later than I did, who kept pushing about how important she needed her car done ASAP, was quoted at 45 minutes… why! I arrived 1^st and you already put in my information. I drive a coupe, that lady rides and Escalade! In my mind her car would take longer due to size alone (idk) but isn’t there a queue system anyway?
Oh well. I only come back for the prices not the fair treatment.

I have been going to the store for over a year now. I bought a set (4) of Yoko for my daughters 2012 genesis couple. Don’t like the tires, almost no grip on wet surfaces. However, the service and management teams are spot-​on. They seem to be concern about provide you professional service, reliable advice and superior products.
Just add wifi.

Hands down the best experience I’ve had at any Discount Tire (I’ve used them for 20 years). Ryan was my service advisor. He was knowledgeable, informative and had an incredible attitude. He made the experience easy and actually enjoyable. I will always come to this location again.

The customer service here is crazy good! You can tell these guys have been trained on good service techniques– friendly greeting upon entering the store, free tire rotations and thoughtful interaction when answering your questions. I buy all my tires here for all my vehicles because their prices are reasonable and the service is fast. You don’t feel that you’re being taken advantage of here, as opposed to other places.
I came here with a slow leak in one of my tires and Stephen took care of me, patching it up so I didn’t have to drop coin on a single new tire today. This earned my business for my next four.

I checked around at local shows for comparable pricing when I first moved to town, and Discount Tire had the best price for the services offered. Every time I have shown up or called, they’ve been friendly and professional, and I walk away (or hang up) feeling confident in the answers I received.
I also just had the most *painless (free/​included) tire rotation of my life. I showed up just after they opened, was met outside by a gentleman who checked my car in, accepted my keys, and asked me to wait inside. Just one question (asked for my phone number on the account), confirmed I just needed a rotation, and everything else was handled for me. My receipt was emailed, a copy provided to me, and I was out the door again before I could finish the work tasks I had set aside for the wait.
Excellent service, excellent customer service, and I still think an excellent price on the tires I purchased.
*At other tire places, I have had odd demands placed on when I could come in or have had to wait until paying customers were services first.

Stopped in today for a repair for a nail in my tire. Was recommended by a co-​worker as a good place to go. As a woman I am always skeptical of going into auto places as i feel they will always try to up sell me on services I don’t need since my auto knowledge is limited. While I waited for my car which was only around 45 mins. I heard them deal with many customers and seemed very honest and upfront about what needed to be done and what could wait until later. They were very friendly and it was a great experience.

Nice guys but what happens to what I was quoted? From $ 105 per tire I got to $ 300 for 2. All these FEES they don’t tell you about. I’m not going back.

Went on their website, selected tires, and picked an appointment time. Had to pick 2-​days out so they would have the tires in-​stock. My expectation is they would have everything ready at appointment time, within reason, similar to making a restaurant reservation. NO. First guy looked it my info and only then did they expect me. In the middle he handed me off to someone else so he could go argue with another employee. Then I was told they only had one tire but they would go look for my tire order. The employee came back and I was told they did not have the tires but would make me a deal on a better tire. I left and went to a competitor down the street. While buying tires from the competitor I received a telephone message saying they found the tires. I did not respond and bought the tires from the competitor. This store needs to get with the 21-​Century or get rid of online appointments/​ordering.
