This place used to be great… not so much now. A few weeks ago we stopped by to shoot. A rather large girl behind the counter was on her cell phone the whole time and sitting on a stool. She didn’t even move when people came to the counter, just kind of swiveled around. I asked another employee if they were hiring since there were only a few employees there on a Saturday afternoon (but it was kinda empty). His response was, «Yes we just hired two knucklehead cops». I’ll just leave that one alone since I’m a LEO.
Went again this past Saturday to shoot. The folks behind the counter acted like we were bothering them. Never even looked me in the eye, smiled, or said, «Thank you». Anyway, we will be visiting another range; just too bad it is a little further away.

Although I use another range in Flowery Branch, went down to check out some AR15s and pistols since they have a quite large selection. Really good prices on some tactical rifles and do run sales on bulk ammo.
This is a shooting range and a gun store so full service all you need for your home protection, hunting needs. My buddy picked up a nice 1911 my first visit (ex-marine) and is quite pleased with the deal he got and many options on pistols and rifles at the $ 500 price point which you need to jump on now (2016) before it jacks up for the demand. Lots of deals on Glocks. Will be shopping here to compare to online, Trigger Time or my other fav– Clydes Armory in Athens… Time to buy people. Get trained, get a permit, practice and always think safety.

These guys have a great place. Clean, nice range, huge selection. Not only that, but the guys working there are extremely helpful and nice. I wasn’t buying anything tonight, but was looking and asking questions, and they were very helpful explaining everything to me. When I am ready to make my purchase, it will be here. Thanks guys!

Dead Center has a great indoor gun range. It’s great because you don’t have to have much interaction with the staff. My past two trips to Dead Center, the customer service was less than stellar.
I needed to have a sight replaced on a pistol. I e-mailed the pro shop with the model of the gun and what I needed to have done. I asked if they could preform this and if so could I get an estimate on the cost. I got a response saying yes they could do it and it would be 20 to 35 dollars. When I got to the store I was told they could not do it.
Wasted trip. Wasted Time.
As mentioned, The range is nice and relatively affordable, but the staff leave something to be desired. If you just want to fire off some rounds yeah go for it. If you are in the market for a fire arm or ammo or supplies or to have a some simple work done keep driving.

I will not go to any other range. When visiting the parents (home from college) I always stop by and spend some quality time on the range. Knowledgeable staff (most are Glock guys) who really know their stuff. Bought my first (and soon second) handguns here.
As previously mentioned, clean and well lit range with good air circulation. Thanks guys.

Solid.
They have added more racks out on the floor for various inventory, including some emergency supplies now, and more counter space for what? More guns! And knives. And more.
Gee has listened to his customers and staff and really made strides to get more stuff into the shop, what’s wanted and needed.
The staff here is one of if not the best around the area.
The range is still great as it’s kept clean, well lit, and well ventilated.
And the classes are stellar. If you have guns, you need training. And in this climate, you should get training. Let Paula or Van set you up with one of their classes and see how much you really do not know. It’s good. Trust me.
Come on and give Dead Center a shot!
