Business Owner

Tobias Westermann grew up in Germany’s Black Forest, close to the borders with Switzerland and France.

In 1994 he began his studies in architecture at the University of Technology in Berlin, and he received his master’s degree in 2002. For the next three years he worked as construction manager and freelance architectural designer for two architecture firms in Berlin. In 2005 he and his wife moved to Buffalo, NY, where she had become a professor at the University at Buffalo.

Through his employment at prominent Buffalo architecture firms, Tobias worked on such projects as the interior restoration of the Darwin D. Martin House and the New West Entrance Building for the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Since 2012 he works independently as a licensed architect.
