Love this place! Has the best used selection I’ve seen in Buffalo. It is huge and has a ton of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing along with shoes, books, furniture, kitchen supplies, etc. I came in here yesterday and bought 6 clothing items for $ 10. Doesn’t get better than that!

This Salvation Army location is definitely off the beaten path – but if you’re a die-hard«buy used» person like me, it’s worth a visit. The space is quite large, stretching far back from a narrow storefront. As you walk in the doors, take a look to your left and right; the window displays are actually low platforms you can walk up on – and they place some of the premium finds here, along with seasonal items. Continuing in to the first main room, you’ll find clothing(men, women, kids). Along the sides(easy to miss) are dishes and other kitchen items. About halfway into the room, along the left wall there’s a door that takes you to a side room with purses, shoes, and some books and toys. Working toward the back of the store, the next room contains more clothing as well as some electronics and furniture. The final room(a really larger space) has large furniture items, picture frames and artwork, linens, toys, knick-knacks, and a whole lot of other random stuff arranged on tables. Because the store seems to be under-shopped by people looking for antiques/collectibles, I often make good finds here – and the prices are better than most thrift«chains» in the city(aside from St. Vincent de Paul).

This is by far my favorite salvation army location in the city. It is pretty dirty and the prices can be a little extravagant as far as the salvation army(due to management) however, you will find some amazing treasures. Usually a good selection as far as womens apparel, jackets, and housewares. I recommend coming on Wednesdays for half off day, but arrive early as it can get pretty busy. Plan to spend a lot of time here as the racks are overly full and can become tiresome to dig through and find good stuff; but it’s well worth the effort! If you’re going up to the register and there’s a lady with long grey hair, wait until she isn’t there to cash out. Generally anyone else will give you a better deal on an item without a price tag!
