Came here for a quick drink after a concert. Terrible service, waited almost 30 minutes for wine. And we had already paid for it! Server kept hiding in the kitchen area so she didn’t have to deal with customers. Had no help from anyone else in the hotel. Talk about lack of teamwork by the staff, when there are two people at the front desk someone should jump in, show some leadership and help out. Needs work! Prime location and could make some serious money.

I’ve only had the breakfast and coffee here, but was pleased with the surface, but most of all the layout of the place here in the lobby. A friend recommended this as a great café to work out of and I agree. The environment is conducive to being productive. The wifi is OK. You get the option of the free wifi or the $ 5/day one that is supposedly faster. The free wifi is decent; it has some hiccups, but not nearly as much as some nearby coffee shops. As far as the food, I had the oatmeal and it was delicious… much better than standard Starbucks oatmeal and served with pecans, cranberries and brown sugar and a little bit of milk. As far as coffee, this place brews Starbucks coffee 24⁄7. Meh. I’m not a fan of Starbucks brews, but this is a corporate Marriott hotel — so I suppose expecting them to source some local beans would be asking for too much(although would be a nice touch ;)). The staff is nice and there are enough outlets in the community table to make for a nice working environment. Recommended!

I had dinner and breakfast here. Food was good both times and the staff was very accommodating. I have a food allergy and they were great about creating meals for me.

It’s very slow. There’s not much to say except we’ve been waiting for our eggs for like 20+ minutes. You walk up to the counter to order then you get a number and wait a while and they bring it to you.

I’ve only been for happy hour. There are two cocktail specials($ 6.25 for cosmos and margaritas) and two wine specials($ 6 for cab sav and pino grigio) from 5pm-7pm. They have a small beer selection but it includes local brews. They use both Absolut and Smirnoff as their well vodka. They serve Starbucks coffee and make various signature Starbucks drinks. Nice outdoor seating area with a wall fire pit in the evenings. Great view of Canalside. I haven’t had the food here, but I have seen it and I hear it can take awhile. A bit pricey but it is in a hotel. Not great on vegan options.
