Mister Pizza is my favorite going way back. Everything is pretty much perfect. The dough is just the right thickness and done with just the right crispness on the bottom. Sauce is well balanced and put on in just the right amount. Plenty of good flavor in the cheese with great stretchiness you look for in mozzarella cheese. Pepperoni is cooked to the right cup and char that I love. Mister pizza is top notch pizza and remains my favorite pizza in the city.

«Awful. Atrocious.» –The famed Fox E. *********************************************** As my dad said when he visited from Maryland, you can’t get pizza like this back home. He was referring to the combination of greasiness and deliciousness. Okay, so a lot of people hate Mister Pizza. Let’s just get that out of the way. And I totally agree with all the reasons why they hate it. Well, maybe not when Fox. E. called it awful and atrocious! That was not very nice, my friend. The main reason people hate it here is because Mister Pizza is super greasy. You have to love that or hate it. I, and some other special people, happen to really love it. :) People complain about the service here too. It’s a bit inconsistent and rough around the edges. Um… yes haha… welcome to Buffalo. I’m not from here and that’s part of why I stayed here. So that allegation puzzles me a little bit. Buffalo needs a little love and so do the workers here… and so do you and me. Honestly though, they are always friendly to me. Not sure if you expect someone slinging za all day to give you saccharine customer service. That would just be weird. They did give me a bonus piece when I ordered two slices yesterday! That was super nice! Now, let me tell you about this bonus piece haha, the one without the crust. I’m not sure if you could fit more grease on that piece. It was literally soaked. I folded it up like I taco, polished it off, and was licking grease off every finger and thumb. I know some people are cringing at this. I think you would have to go to Scotland to fully understand this obsession. They put fried eggs on burgers so the yoke’s dripping down the side. They deep fry candy bars. Talk about a depth charge to your stomach. There’s something beautiful, on occasion, about crushing something totally greasy and obviously unhealthy. That’s what getting pizza here is about. If you can’t appreciate, I totally understand. I used to live across the street from Mister Pizza. Now this seems totally amazing except when they ask you whether you want pick up or delivery. «Actually can you just walk across the street so I don’t have to leave my apartment? I’m going to lower a basket from my balcony. Can you just kindly lay it in the basket and I’ll make your tip rain from heaven?» I actually only thought of this idea after I moved BUT if I ever move back… There are so many other things I love about Mister Pizza besides the grease. I love the different flavor crusts you can get. The garlic and sesame crust is very yummy. I went in one time near closing and they didn’t have slices to go. So they just gave me a whole cheese pizza they had lying around — for free! Also, I don’t like Parmesan at ALL, and Mister Pizza is the only place I know of that doesn’t put it in their sauce. The only qualm I have with Mister Pizza and that they didn’t name their second location Mrs. Pizza. I mean, come on, I thought that was a pretty obvious move…

I ordered pizza from here with a friend for one of the Bill’s games. We decided to order the Small Pak, which came with a medium cheese and pepperoni pizza and 10 wings. We ordered it for pick up, knowing that it would be a lot longer of a wait time for delivery. When we placed the order, we asked for medium wings and light sauce on the pizza and were told it would be ready in a half hour. When we arrived, the pizza was ready and hot! So we were off to a good start. However, the guy working seemed to hate his life and was not personable at all. I was trying to cheer him, but it just wasn’t happening. When arriving back at her house, I noticed a couple of things right away. The wings were bone dry… hardly any sauce on them at all, which was disappointing. Also, the pizza, which was round shaped, was cut in square slices. This makes no sense to me. Some of the slices near the edge were like little triangles of crust, which isn’t a big deal but why wouldn’t they cut it in triangles then if the pizza is round? Oh well. The pizza was pretty good after taking the first few bites. I really enjoyed the crust which was a perfect thickness for my liking. My friend also pointed out that they didn’t follow our«light sauce» request and she ended up wiping some off. I don’t mind sauce so this is something that I didn’t notice but still annoying that they didn’t do as we asked. The wings fell a little short because of the lack of sauce(maybe they thought we said light sauce on the wings instead of the pizza? who knows). Finally, the price was a little bit steep, considering we had a medium pizza, ten wings and a bottle of pop. Total was 27 $. With all of that being said, I really did enjoy the pizza but I don’t think it is a place I will craving nor driving out of my way to get.

I’ve only heard good things about Mister Pizza, and often times see empty boxes in the break room at work so I decided to give it a go for last night’s Bills game. I went with a friend and the smallest«pak» they had was a medium 1 topping pizza and 10 wings for around 23 $. With a 2 liter of soda and tax it came out to about 27 dollars. Eh, a little pricey. The worker who waited on us was less than pleased to be speaking with us, however in his defense there were orders upon orders of pizzas in the back waiting to be picked up. Working in the food industry in the past I felt for him. There seemed to be a ton of workers there to help though. I asked for light sauce, because as we all know I DON’T do soggy. I was saddened to get home and see that the amount of sauce was the normal amount, and the wings we ordered medium were basically extra crispy and mild if any hot sauce at all. The pizza tasted good, I personally prefer the square slices that they do so that was a plus. A little too saucy for me, however I don’t know that they do light sauce so there might not be a cure for that. It was definitely greasy, no floury crust in sight. I see better reviews for their specialty pizzas so perhaps if I want to make the drive I will try one of those next.

Mr. pizza is extremely hit and miss. You can sometimes get a really good pizza and other times not so much. Ordered a large cheese tonight and they have me a large pepperoni that tasted like it had been sitting out for an hour. There are other good spots and won’t be ordering again.

This is the perfect place for you if you enjoy placing an order at 1:30, being told it will be delivered within the hour, and finally canceling the order because at 3:00, the food has still not arrived. Fabulous customer service as well… The woman who took the call when we inquired to where the food was, and again when we called to cancel, couldn’t have cared less. Well done, Mister Pizza!

Pizza took 92 minutes to deliver, man on phone was rude, pie isn’t even cooked all the way through. Never again, don’t waste your money.

I really enjoy steak and spinach on garlic bread subs. I keep trying to find one similar to the one from Avenue. I have only found one that was close. Unfortunately Mr. Pizza’s was not it. The menu makes the sub sound delicious, it was adequate. Although it was loaded with meat, it just didn’t have that sauteed in garlic spinach flavor. I don’t understand why other pizza places can’t come close to Avenue’s steak and spinach sub.

The pizza just doesn’t do it for me. Always super greasy(yes, I do realize it’s pizza. But this amount of grease is brutal). For«Buffalo» pizza, the crust is pretty thin. They also go light on the sauce & heavy on the cheese. Just not my cup of tea. They get 3 stars bc their meatball bombers are, excuse the pun here, the bomb! Hahaha Delicious I also like the wings here. But let’s be real, u can find good wings pretty much anywhere in Buffalo.

Ordered a pizza at 8:30 pick it up at 9:10. This pizza has been sitting around for quite a few hours. Nothing like warming up a left over pizza from hours ago and giving it to your customer.

At work today we ordered delivery ahead of time with a specific delivery time. The delivery came right on time. We ordered the Chicken, broccoli and cheese pizza(no red sauce) and BBQ wings. I do not know what kind of spices they sprinkle on top but this pizza was absolutely phenomenal! You could clearly see that the broccoli was fresh and still a darker shade of green. The BBQ wings were plump, crispy and not too saucy. The BBQ sauce is a little on the sweet side which I prefer. Being from Buffalo and true a lover of chicken wings I cannot believe how good these were! I cannot wait until we order in again! Great job Mr. pizza!

I have a certain place in my heart for Mr. Pizza, among the other relics of my college days — don’t get me wrong, I think the pizza is deplorable but for one reason or another the fried chicken is excellent. So, four stars for the chicken.

My husband was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and he is the one who took me to this place for the first time. To be honest, their pizza is one of the best pizza I ever had in my whole entire life. Even now when my family and I already moving from Buffalo, we always compare the pizza we ate with the Mister Pizza’s pizza. The price is not cheap, but for sure it’s worth it

One word: Overrated. First off, the service is HORRIBLE. Anytime you call you from the first thing the person answering says you get the impression that they are incredibly annoyed that you called. You know, to give them business and put money in their pockets. Seriously rude people working the phones and the counters. And if you’re ordering more than one thing, after each item you inevitably get the«anything ELSE??» like your doing them such an inconvenience for ordering more than one thing from them. Then when its all said and done the food isn’t even that good. More often than not the wings taste like they were made 2 hours earlier and the hot sauce is dried up or non existent. The pizza is nothing special either. Sometimes you wonder if there is any sauce or if your just eating melted mozzarella and dough. When you order a full pie, half the time it falls apart when you pick it up and try to eat it and the cheese slides off. Other times it tastes like they made it an hour before you called, And please don’t bother getting a slice. The only place Ive ever known that refuses to heat up their slices for a few minutes in an over if someone is coming in just to grab a slice or two. It sits there in a glass display case, sometimes for hours and they just throw it in a box. I mean, seriously as a pizza place in the heart of the Elmwood Strip you would think that you would get a lot of business from passerbys just looking for a quick slice or two. And the product you shelf out to them tastes worse than the quality you would get from a Papa John’s. Bottom line: save yourself the cash by getting the exact same product, only done better and more consistently for less money at Just Pizza. Or, if you feel compelled to pay that much for pizza, then just go to La Nova for a much better all around experience.

Mister Pizza is definitely not the cheapest pizza in town. .. but there’s something about it that always seems to keep us coming back(even after griping about the price the last time). Even the dismissive phone service doesn’t dissuade us from ordering over and over again. What’s more, I know we’re not the only ones with this semi-addicted attitude to the place; I can’t tell you the number of conversations I’ve had about Mr. Pizza and how overpriced/irresistible it is. All that said: it’s really good, and they have a crazy number of toppings available. The pizza crust is almost magically crisp and delicious. We’ll keep ordering. And paying too much for a «cheap dinner» pizza night.

Sure, they screw up your order now and again but, I love Mister Pizza and always will. I rarely stray from my usual order(Cheese, pepperoni, sausage pizza with a garlic sesame crust). On the rare occasion that I do try something different, its great. It’s always better when you specify«slices» and a sesame crust. Slices beat filet’s all day. And there traditional wings are pretty great. I have gotten many out of towners addicted to their pies. I’ve got friends that request Half-Baked pies when I go to visit.

This place is rough. The workers are so incredibly rude. Get ready for pizza with a heaping side order or bad attitude. I swear the owner must get his workers at a prison. They NEVER say thank you, and are literally abusive to customers. They’re also lousy neighbors(I live around the corner) and overall are disrespectful. Oh and by the way, their pizza is lousy and overpriced. We much prefer a frozen pie from Wegmans for 1⁄3 the price. With so many great pizza options on Buffalo it amazes me that this place can stay in business.

I love me some pizza. So if I don’t like a pizza, it must be pretty sub-par. The cheese is thick and congealed(as compared to soft and melted), the crust has no flavor and barely feels cooked … and is there even sauce somewhere on the pizza??? Is that what that thin smear of red is under the hard cheese? Little flecks of oregano or whatever the green stuff is on top does not excuse you from adding some real flavor to your pizza. I never eat this unless forced. Blah.
