History

Established in 2012.

Larkin Square is located in the historic Larkin District, once home to the Larkin Soap Company. In 2002 the Larkin Development Group purchased and restored the Larkin at Exchange Building at 726 Exchange Street. Since then they have rehabbed multiple properties and streets in what is now affectionately referred to as Larkinville. Larkin Square presents whimsy amongst the warehouses. A welcoming space that is home to the Larkin Filling Station, a converted 1930s gas station once part of the Larkin Soap Co. Today many public and private events are held in Larkin Square. Two of the most popular are Food Truck Tuesdays (May — October) and Live at Larkin summer concerts. Larkin Square public events have free admission and free parking thanks to the generosity of presenting sponsor First Niagara and sponsor Independent Health.
