I moved to buffalo with only a few days to find a place to live before starting a new job. struggled with other properties to get a rental so short notice. After i discovered KD it was quick and easy. Got a 10month lease because i was near UB (they offer students shorter leases at some properties). I even asked to break my lease a month early and only had to pay for the part of the month that the unit was empty before they found a new tenant.
All good experiences with KenDev.

I do not recommend renting from Kenmore Development. Their buildings are dated and are ‘fixed up’ to the bare minimum. Their administrative staff and owners are unprofessional – changing rental rates on a whim. They do not treat their tenants as customers. As someone who works in customer service, I simply do not understand their business model and especially at such a time of growth in our city. I will be telling as many people as possible about my disappointing experiences renting from them. Refer to the photo submitted for the full story.

Terrible management company! Past the initial period when you visit the model unit, they are starting to treat you poorly. Units are dated, things break (in my case, windows didn’t work properly, boiler broke down, to name a few issues).
They offer short leases but raise your rent by ridiculous amounts. To top it off (afar renting six years from them), they were very inflexible on the conditions to end the lease. They required a two-​month deposit which I paid, but they rented my unit two weeks after. Brian, the manager, is not reliable and clearly lied to me. It’s only when I insisted and threatened him of legal action that he admitted what was a ‘mistake’ in his own words. Stay away from Kenmore Development!
