Skimpy food, overpriced, filthy and the guy was miserable. Can’t beleive they’e still in business. Like 4 pieces of Ham on a sub. Never again

Not worth the coupon I had. This place could use a clean up. There was a layer of dust on everything and was not a pleasant place to sit down and eat.

Review pertains to Abbott Road location only!!! I’ve been to the Harlem Road location in the past & that one is great. This one? NOT great. Had a $ 5 coupon, which I got for free. Yeah, still not worth the trip. I will never go back to this location. Never. Place is very dated, and NOT in a good way. It’s also filthy — feels like there’s a film of smoke and/or grease on everything — kind of like bars back when smoking was allowed inside. Freezing cold in there too — we had to leave our coats on to eat. The food was average at best. I read on the website that not all of the restaurants are run by the original family anymore, and this is obviously one of them. Awful. Don’t go here.

OK, so I haven’t been to John and Marys for a very long time and it was kind of a spur of the moment thing — We live fairly close by and I thought I remembered having had good food there some years ago. At least I think I remember the commercials on 97 Rock. I guess my memory is impaired because I did not remember the bizarre collection of Pepsi memorabilia going back many decades that is crammed in every conceivable square inch of the place. Kudos on your collecting… Big shame on you for it being so absolutely filthy. I like to encourage those who collect. Hey, I’m a huge Pepsi fan myself, but I discourage those who ‘hoard’ and display without regard all those dusty, cobwebby things in my personal eating space. Kinda like eating in the flea market.(A little windex here would go a long way…) Half the lights were out, the furnace must’ve been on the fritz because it was freezing in there, causing our food to be cold before it was half eaten.(We had taken off our coats and had to put them back on) Tables, floor, counter were all greasy in that«Too lazy to pick up a bucket of hot water and soap» way… Poppers were freezer-burned and the entire place smelled of Air-San — which is only appealing if you have to suffer the mens room in a bar at three in the morning. Service? Non-existent. «Napkins are over there, next to the pile of boxes»(Actual quote from the guy behind the counter) Food? Terrible on a good day. Didn’t there used to be standards of cleanliness and service in WNY? Maybe, but it seems my memory is impaired.
