Mr. Sebastian is a native of New York State. He was born and raised in the NYC metro area. After graduating from law school and passing the NY Bar Exam, Sebastian gained valuable New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law experience by serving as an Assistant District Attorney. He prosecuted thousands of traffic cases in felony and misdemeanor courts. He litigated cases in some of the busiest courts in the State of New York.

John was able to make the frustrating experience of a speeding ticket almost stress free. I live out of state and John handled everything without me needing to appear in court. He quickly processed the necessary paperwork after our first call and kept good communication to let me know what was going on. Most importantly, he helped reduce the speeding ticket to a parking ticket, with no points on the record. He clearly explained each part of the process and made it as painless as possible. I found his fee very reasonable considering the excellent service and results.

Ahhhhh-​mazing! (that first part is a sigh of relief!) John Sebastian went to court on my behalf because I live in San Diego but I received a speeding ticket while visiting Buffalo during Christmas. They claimed that I was going 75 in a 55 which couldn’t have been possible, I had just exited a ramp and had cars in front of me in both lanes. Either way, John Sebastian knew exactly who to speak to about reducing my ticket so I did not receive and points on my license. He is so nice and helpful, I am elated. I searched for a LONG time for an attorney to handle this case. So many attorneys I spoke to were insanely expensive and could not guarantee any real results! I’m am so very happy I did not settle until I found John Sebastian! Look no further, my Buffalo friends!

Received a speeding ticket while driving home to MD.
Contacted a number of lawyers, but John won me over with the initial phone conversation– his experience and professionalism was clearly evident.
He was able to plea by speeding ticket to a parking ticket (no points, small fine) — I did not have to be present!
While I hope not to use his services again, John is a great lawyer and delivers what he promises!

My son, a student at UB, was cited for speeding in a reduced speed zone (that he claims not to have noticed until the officer’s speed measurement unit also noticed). Attorney John Sebastian promptly returned my call. He clearly articulated his extensive experience in dealing with the issuing agency, with the court where the information was returnable, and with the governing procedural statute. His requested fee was more than fair, and his continual, prompt updates were greatly appreciated. The ticket was eventually dismissed after his Motion to Dismiss (for failure to comply with a basic procedural requirement) was granted. As one who refers out a great deal of legal work in other jurisdictions, I would provide six stars, if that were an option, for value, client service, knowledge of statutory and procedural law, and for understanding the weaknesses (short handed) of prosecuting agencies.

I was new to the Buffalo area and found myself in a pretty embarrassing legal predicament that I did not feel comfortable sharing with the few contacts I had in the area. After poking around on the Internet and sorting through one lawyer after another, all unknown to me I settled on John because he picked up the phone on 10 am on a Sunday morning. As a holder of a professional license, I had a significant amount riding on the outcome of my case and Mr. Sebastian understood this fully. At no time did I feel pressured to make any decisions at his urging, and all possible options were explained in depth. Since we felt strong about the facts of my case we chose to aggressively dispute the charges and the judge granted our motion to dismiss all charges. I could not have wished for a better outcome at an affordable price. Thanks John!
