Daisy’s Doghouse

Love this store! Went in recently to pick up a few items in preparation for getting my new puppy and left with not only some great items but with advice for the big «home-​coming» as well as an invitation to bring the little one in next time! Can’t wait to go back!

Cute store. Not too much of a selection, but the things they do have are very reasonably priced. The store is bright, clean and welcoming. The owner was very nice and leashed pets are welcomed.
I will definitely go back when I’m in the area to check out any new items she may have gotten.
Also love the fact that she sells a lot of locally made goods.

I don’t have dogs, but I love pet stores. I stopped in here while waiting to be seated at Mac’s on Hertel across the street. I’m so glad I did!
It’s aimed towards dogs, but the owner Lisa was there and I asked if she had any cat treats. She said yes and showed me, pointing out each variety. They’re from Zuke’s, and the treats are made without corn, wheat, or soy, and the main ingredient was the meat protein of whatever variety. My cat Summer is ridiculously picky, but I hate feeding her the treats I have, so I picked up the Tuna treats and purchased them. And she loves them! Like, she’s obsessed with them! She’s hilarious, she’ll actually meow at me and lead me to the treats and rub up against them (they’re on the nightstand next to my bed). Not only that, but my other cat, Little Guy, who you can’t entice with food at all, even enjoys them! He would just ignore the last treats, but these he actually eats and looks to me for more. It’s unreal! And I’m happy giving these to him because they’re also made with cranberries to promote urinary tract help, which he has a diagnosed problem with.
So definitely go here! The staff is wonderfully helpful, the store is clean, you can bring your dogs, and the food is fantastic; definitely pet approved!

So cute! On my way to another Hertel hotspot I popped in here as I passed by. We don’t have a dog right now but I do have lots of dogs in my life. So a store like this is good for me to know about. I’m often seeking gifts and treats for the dogs.
They carry all things dog here. Leashes. Toys. Shampoos. Treats (from Fetch!). Bowls. Even some dog cards.
The owner is local, from Central Park. Daisy is sometimes at the store. Dogs are welcome to stop in and check out their options here.
