OK, here goes, went there tonight after reading reviews. 10 minutes to get drink orders taken .had enough time that we were ready with our food orders when she took our drink order. 40MINUTES later our dinners arrived .the place was not that busy… my ziti parm macaroni was so over cooker I could not pick it up with a fork it just slid off into the watery sauce. my wife’s fish was greasy. they took my dinner off the bill and offered a desert but it was getting late and I figured it would take another 40 minutes to get it so we refused and left. needless to say we won’t be back

Went to Curry’s on a Friday night around 7:30pm. Wow! It was packed. We grabbed a seat at the bar and waited for our table which was about a 20 min wait. Not too bad. The bartender was very nice. The bar was packed. Mostly an older local crowd where everyone seems to know eachother but it was not off putting at all. The hostess was able to seat us, she did give us the heads up that it was in the back corner near a door, and many people don’t like that table, so if we didn’t want to sit there she would seat is when a different table opened. I thought that was very nice of her, but we did not have any problems sitting at that table. I was going to order a fish dinner even though it was haddock which I normally don’t favor but I was really in the mood for fish, but the server did tell me that it was skin on, which I asked her about, and do not like it! So we both ordered dibbles. I had a roasted turkey and my husband had the fried bologna. Both served on a garlicy hoagie roll with the meat of our choice, and topped with their homemade stuffed banana pepper and topped with melted cheese. Both were very good, the pepper was very spicy. I had onion rings as my side and my husband had the French fries. Nice little local restaurant with some good choices. We will probably be back.

I have had dinner at Curry’s several times and I am always impressed by the home-style cooking! Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious! Curry’s has a casual, informal atmosphere, which adds to its charm. The service is also excellent. Our servers are attentive and friendly every time. Curry’s serves my favorite fish fry in Buffalo. They offer breaded or beer battered haddock. I always go with the beer battered. The fish fries are served hot. The batter is light and perfectly crispy. It comes with a side of macaroni salad and coleslaw, with your choice of potato. I order the french fries because they are amazing. The fish fry is honestly big enough to split between two people. I couldn’t even finish my half the last time I went there for dinner. In addition to the fish fry, I recommend the stuffed banana peppers and the sauteed artichoke hearts. Both appetizers are phenomenal and flavorful! Last but not least, the Dibble Sandwich is one of the best sandwiches you will ever have! The sandwich is made with your choice of meat, topped with stuffed banana peppers and melted mozzarella cheese, served on a garlic bread roll. I highly recommend the Filet Dibble! If you live in the Buffalo area, definitely stop by Curry’s for lunch or dinner on a Friday!

After reading current reviews we decided to go for lunch yesterday. Food was excellent, all four of us enjoyed hot, tasty meals. There were quite a few tables full which is a good sign. There was only one server in the dining room and she was right on top of everything. Good food, good service, glad we gave them another try and already looking forward to going back.

My son and I use to enjoy dinner here on the way to his tutoring sessions. The clientele tends to be older, but most of them are adorable and very friendly. The food was great and served in nice — sized portions. My only complaint is the waitress(older lady) is not as fast as I would like. Always slow to give the check. I once had to get up and find another employee so I could get our check to pay. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

Oh my gosh. I think this restaurant may be a prime example of «don’t judge a book by its cover.» So from the outside(and even the inside), Curry’s does not have the best décor. However, the food and service more than make up for it. I have been here many times, and I have only sat at the bar(for drinks and food), so I cannot give an accurate rating of just a dining experience. The bartenders do make an effort to learn your name, and they will be sure to greet you by name the next time you come in. There are a lot of regulars in the bar area(a lot of coaches from the Kenmore/Tonawanda area gather here after games, and neighborhood people go in a lot), so you do get to know a lot of the people that stop by. The bartenders do very well with keeping up on your drink order. As soon as you are empty, they are ready and asking if you’d like another! They also give you baskets of pretzels to nibble on, which I do appreciate if I am starving and waiting for a food order. Speaking of food orders, I have tried several of the menu items, and have always been more than satisfied with them. Most recently I ordered the Chicken and Walnut Salad, but I had them substitute sirloin as I do not eat chicken. The salad came with sirloin(rare, cooked perfectly), mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, roasted walnuts, dried cranberries, and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I must remember for next time to ask them to add gorgonzola cheese, as I believe that is all that was missing!(Although, I do love cheese on absolutely everything, so the salad is also delicious without it). I have also tried the quesadillas(no meat), stuffed banana peppers, stuffed banana pepper soup, and the french onion soup. All of them were marvelous! I love stuffed banana peppers, and the ones from Curry’s are wonderful. The one thing I have not had yet, but I wish to try is a sirloin dibble. The dibbles are the sandwiches that come with your choice of meat(or no meat) and they are topped with the stuffed banana peppers. I have heard nothing but good things about them! I highly recommend stopping into this local establishment. The food is amazing, and all of the employees are great as well!

Their fish fry is excellent not just because the fish is good, but because the sides are the best. You’ve got to have the macaroni salad. Yum. My mom loves their BLT. I like their soups. The bar and the restaurant both are popular and sometimes you have to wait a bit to be seated.

If your looking for a good home cooked meal this is the place. The soup is delicious. I had the Chicken Corn Soup with a touch of lemon and reuben. The portions are generous. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals saying the food was fresh and delicious. Its a small informal place that makes it comfortable. You wont be disappointed.

Perfect for a family dinner you get what you pay for the fish fry gives you plenty to eat and you never leave hungry. It’s obviously not the best quality but it’s a nice ambiance and the servers are always very friendly!

Curry’s, surprise surprise, the food was hot and delicious! They give you large portions of everything, the fish was HUGE and tasty;) I had the steak sandwich and fries, which were steaming hot, the way I like;) Very good!!! The restaurant is clean but the atmosphere was pretty quiet for Friday lunch but I hear this place is cookin in the evenings with the open bar!!! Will be back!

Had take-out fish fry dinner with fries macaroni salad and coleslaw. Everything was made well and tasted great! The portions are very generous, I was able to make mine into two separate meals. The service was very fast as well. I would definitely go again and check out different items on the menu. Update: dibble is not as good as it sounded. Curry burger is not bad at all. Quesadilla is good but a little greasy and not very big considering the price. Last two times I ordered take-out, I had to wait twice as long as usual. Not sure why, wasn’t very busy at all. New cooks?

I love very little… but I love this place. It has that feeling that you used to get when you watched Cheers. Everyone knows everyone, the food is reasonably priced, and the service is amazing. Check my reviews, I am honest about what is both great and horrible. Fred, the bartender, is absolutely amazing. He is a seasoned Pro, and his memory for drinks is second to none. The baked fish is by far the highlight of the menu. Huge portions, great sides, and if you get take out, they don’t screw up the order. You can really tell that this place appreciates every transaction that takes place and will do anything to have you come back again. This is the type of business philosophy that will keep them around for years. Parking is the only issue, but it’s well worth a little walk if you have to park on a side street. In my past life I used to eat quite a few chicken wings, and I always said this place was maybe at the top of the list. Their wings size is huge! Plus, they smother their wings in their delicious sauce. If you paired their wings up with Duff’s blue cheese and fries, you might have the meal I ask for if I ever find myself on death row! So friendly. I absolutely love coming here. Also, it’s easy to take my 2 year old son to eat at Curry’s because it is fast. If it’s ever going to be a few minutes, one of the waitresses will bring my son a piece of bread or something else to kill time. Golf and baseball are almost always on… which pleases me to no end. This place is about as good as it gets for what it is. Fine dining? No. But, the food is just as delicious and the atmosphere is great for the young, old, and everyone in between.

My first time here, which is funny as it’s close by. I met family there at someone else’s request, so I had my chance! As a vegetarian I only had a couple choices… so on that front I wouldn’t go there to eat on any regular basis. However I do eat fish on occasion and was ready for a fish fry! Since everyone else ordered salads I didn’t want to be a glutton(lol) I had the fish sandwich. Well! The piece fish was giant for the sandwich…(hurray for good rolls too, I’m thinking they were Costanza’s rolls) and I had to eat half of the fish before I could eat the sandwich! It really hit the spot and I felt satisfied for not quite getting a typical ‘fish fry’. The fries were not my fav so I kind of let them sit… but the fish itself was great and a decent side of tatar sauce as well! Oh and they serve the fish fry’s every day of the week… another plus! The eating area is small(bar on other side) so would fill up quick… clean enough and service was good(a Monday evening and only one waitress but she did great) I would definitely go there again for the fish fry.
