Chi Chi’s Hardware & Tool Rental

Yeah I rip out pages from magazines if there are pretty pictures and relatively simple directions for DIY home improvement and small scale craft project ideas. I’ve probably spent more time doing that than watching tv. The problem is that I lack tools outside the basic hammer, baby power drill, and stud finder.
But this community staple (around since the 1950s) is a DIY dreamer haven! The store has woodworking, heavy duty, and gardening tools for rent. Depending on the tool you rent for 4 hours or by the day. You have to put a deposit down (cash or credit card) and then your rental fee is deducted from it when you return the tool (s).
In my case I’m looking for a yard tiller. They have 3 – 5 horsepower tillers and then heavier HP tillers. The smaller ones (perfect for garden/​yard work) is $ 25 for 4 hours. That sure beats throwing out my back or giving my dog any ideas that mimicking my manual digging is ok behavior.
