Buffalo Civic Auto Ramps – Fernbach Ramp

A huge parking garage near Pearl Street, this is a great place to park if you’re going to an event at the Convention Center.
It has about 7 stories and prices are reasonable even when they have events, it stays at $ 7 for the day or $ 2 per hour, which for those of you who are from NYC or larger cities will think is funny. Oftentimes when there is an event at the Convention Center, you may be able to get free parking at the Fernbach ramp if the event will validate your ticket, so check with the event organizers beforehand.
There is an elevator that takes you up to the multitude of floors on the ramps. They get a huge star docked for not being open ²⁴⁄₇. I don’t understand the huge numbers of parking garages that are not able to be open ²⁴⁄₇ in downtown Buffalo. This once led to a very uncomfortable situation when I had to park overnight in downtown for a few days and take the bus out of the city, but I had no idea where I could leave my car.
If anyone has an answer to this seemingly unnecessary mystery, I’m all ears…
