Established in 2005.

We are home to Buffalo’s first and only BJJ black belt. Professor Charles Anzalone brought BJJ to Buffalo with his professor, the late great Grand Master Carlson Gracie Sr. in 2005.

I trained here when I lived in Buffalo. This is an awesome place to train. Whether you want to get in shape or you want to compete, its a no-ego atmosphere and everyone helped each other get better regardless of age, sex, or skill level. There is a beginners class that is very helpful and teaches everyone to train safely (super important in jiu jitsu). I don’t have any children but the kids class was really popular and it looked like a lot of fun for them. They offered seminars a few times a year where world champions from other states and countries come in and teach. I had a lot of fun training here
