Blue Table Chocolates

I don’t know why I haven’t written a review of this place before. I’ve been enjoying their creations at events all over town. And picked some up in the last as hostess gifts, always appreciated.
Made by hand and more or less sold in a day, these chocolate are sophisticated in flavors. I think they have some flavors they carry all the time, but I usually get whatever their monthly flavors are. Always a surprise and always good.
They have a signature design too so easily recognizable. We are monthly subscribers now, which is great.
The owners are super personable and eager to please.

These are by far the best truffles I have ever had. If you see them in a store, buy them. They’re generally always sold out. If you need a gift for someone these are perfect. They have a variety of flavors to choose from and I have yet to try one I didn’t like. Though they’re pricey, they are completely worth it.

I’ve bought so many of these as Christmas gifts and I absolutely love them. The truffles are hand made and there are so many flavors. The proprietors make each one by hand, no factory in China making your gifts. The tricky part is tracking them down and then not being totally broke after buying 3 presents (the truffles are a definite premium). On Saturdays, you can find Blue Table selling their chocolate at Horsefeathers on Connecticut & Normal. If you contact them via Twitter or email and live locally, they will sometimes make deliveries or you may be able to coordinate a pick up right in their kitchen on the West Side of Buffalo.
Every single time, they have been super accomodating in trying to get me a package of truffles during the week, sometimes I’ve had to go out and drive somewhere to meetup, but hey — while other people may think there’s something sketchy about going to a warehouse on the West Side to pick up chocolates or meeting a nondescript parking lot, these truffles are just too damn good to pass up (and your friends will love you for them).

These chocolates are a work of art –simply beautiful and delicious! I had a chance to talk with the owner at a local event in late August and sample a great deal of their unique creations. And I really mean unique! There are so so SO many flavors! I was so fortunate to taste a lot of (free) samples — these chocolates are expensive but well worth it. They make for great gifts — my sister’s bridal shower had Blue Table Chocolates as the favors — or just a a sweet treat for yourself!
Right now Blue Table Chocolates can be purchased online. The website also notes that select collections are available at Globe (elmwood location), Première Gourmet, and Guercio and Sons.
With the holidays coming up I hope to see Blue Table do some sort of pop up shop.

I don’t know what to say other than ‘WOW!”.
I saw this chocolatier listed as one of the providers on the most recent Unilocal Elite event. Long story short, went on their website only to find that no address or brick and mortar location was listed. Did the next best thing… ordered their sample pack online. $ 16.00 for a 12 piece sample pack. This occurred on Sunday, August 29^th.
This morning I get a text from the owner of Blue Table apologizing for the fact the sample pack order could not be filled as listed because the flavors were being changed to reflect the Fall lineup. Responded that I didn’t care and just give me what he could.
End result — the owner SHOWS UP AT MY DOOR with the sample pack in hand. 4pm this afternoon! Is this service at it’s finest?
I have never had this type of experience before! Aside from the wonderful customer service the chocolates are BEAUTIFUL and delicious. I’ve tried two and grudgingly allowed my daughter — who is not a connoisseur of anything –to try two as well (what a waste!). She loved them!
Will I be a repeat customer? OH YES!
