Hymen & Blair, P.C. was formed in 1992 based on the philosophy that clients want their attorneys to patiently listen to their problems, to be cost efficient in pursuing solutions and to promptly return their calls. Although we cannot promise that we are always sitting at our desks and available 24/​7, we endeavor to return calls and e-​mails the same day. Business Owner

Joel S. Hymen is an attorney of over 30 years of experience in a wide range of legal areas. He received his Bachelors of Science in Education from Northwesten University and his Juris Doctor with honors from IIT Chicago Kent College of Law. While at Chicago Kent, Hymen was a member of the Law Review and received the prestigious bar and gavel award for his excellent contributions to the law school community. Hymen is a Past President of The Decalogue Society of Lawyers and a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
