We have called on Dave for six years. Never a glitch. Never a problem. Nice as can be. Always solved the problem in record time. Reasonable and kind.

We had a serious computer issue. Dave returned our call quickly and came over promptly. He got right down to work and fixed the problem. He’s a really nice guy, someone you can feel comfortable working with. He’s honest and fair in his prices. I’m so glad I found Dave and he will certainly be my go-​to guy anytime I have computer problems.

Whenever I have an issue or a question with any of my computers Dave is my go to guy. He’s honest, friendly, and easy to work with.

Been having problems with my wifi and internet. Comcast was insisting that we upgrade our modem. After at least three phone calls totaling countless hours, never speaking to someone you could understand, I’d about given up. I was lucky enough to find on Unilocal Dave Cohen. He showed up quickly, and was able to solve my issues in little more than an hour. He reprogrammed all of our devices, too. He flew through commands on the computers like it was nothing. Very impressed with his knowledge and competency. Very fair pricing. If you need an IT/​Computer guy, Dave is your man. Highly recommend.

I found Dave while looking for a small computer repair service. I’ve always felt that this is where you’ll get the best service. I can across the Unilocal reviews and since he was convenient to the house I gave him a call. Dave had my laptop done in a day and everything seems to be great. A fantastic find who I will use again and recommend to others.

As others have stated here, once you use Dave, you’ll never use anyone else. I’ve used Dave twice and have been amazed with his incredible knowledge of computers and software. He quickly diagnoses the problem and then quickly solves it. I’ve used perhaps a half dozen other services before Dave and none even comes close in terms of expertise and honesty. A real find!

I’m a small business owner in Schaumburg, IL. A virus infected my computer and rendered it useless. I contacted Symantec, and they worked on my computer remotely from an overseas location for a week. Finally, they told me yesterday that I would have to blow away all data and reinstall Windows. This would have severe and costly implications.
I searched Unilocal,and found Dave. He agreed to be out at my office that afternoon. He took my computer, which would not even load Windows, and eliminated all viruses WITHOUT deleting crucial information. He accomplished in 2 hours what Symantec/​Norton could NOT do in a week!
I seldom, if ever, write Internet reviews, but my appreciation for Dave Cohen’s excellent work compels me to do so. He is a miracle worker with computers and anyone with a virus issue should hire him.

OK first of all you’ll never have to go anywhere else for computer work again. I will never use anyone else.

I called a «Big Box» store that sold me my high dollar anti virus program that didn’t catch the bug that stopped my PC. «They» told me it would take FOUR DAYS before they’d even look at it.
Dave said he’d get right on it. He found the problem and fixed it and I was up and running the next day by noon. He even told me what to do if it happened again. I spent far less time and money than if I had gone back to the other guys.

Two days ago my laptop started acting up (I couldn’t even get it to work in Safe Mode). I hopped on my boyfriend’s 11 year-​old über-​slow piece of junk with the goal of finding a local company to help me out, and fast.
I got exactly that with Dave’s Computer Services. Dave answered my emails and calls in a timely fashion, and worked with me to make an appointment to save my sanity.
The whole job took a few hours, and in that time he restored everything back to its original settings, reloaded software I had purchased, and he actually got rid of junky programs I didn’t need that were taking up extra hard drive space. He even reloaded a new virus scan program, brought back my preferred web browser, and configured my wireless so I no longer have to plug my laptop into an Ethernet cable.
Dave was a very down-​to-​earth regular guy and was very easy to talk to. I would continue to call him instead of the hyped up franchise company I will not name. :)
In fact, he told me he sells used computers as well, and I WILL be calling him to replace that 11 year-​old POS inhabiting our home office. Dave quoted me a very reasonable price, so I am very pleased that I can get a deal through him versus spending 4x more elsewhere.
