Urban Grill Teriyaki House

Pretty good chicken veggie bowl. Well cooked, not undercooked or overlooked. Sizable amount of meat and sizable amount of veggies. Order that for a simple healthy and clean meal. The beef noodle bowl was also cool though a bit on the sweet side.
Service was also very good. Cashier person was enthusiastic and helpful. Bathroom seemed clean. Smelled a bit like disinfectant upon entering but wasn’t a problem. Good temperature and ventilation.

Went here for a quick lunch. I wasn’t a big fan of the curry. It wasn’t terrible it was just lacking flavor and the rice was over cooked. My friend got beef and broccoli and she said it was good she just wished she would have told them to not put the sauce on it.

Had seen it for several years but never took the time and effort to walk in and give it a try. Today, I was craving teriyaki and viewed the Unilocal reviews of this restaurant. With them being very positive, I decided to give it a try. Heading in, I was quite impressed with the environment, menu, and prices of the dishes.
Looking at the menu, and knowing what I like, my order was a teriyaki noodle dish. When received, I was very delighted with the look and diversity of the food. Taking the first bite, my hunger increased and my eating started. Truly loved the meal and knew that how they cooked made it incredibly delicious. The chicken was soft and tender. The noodles were moist and tasty. Added with the veggies, it made a total meal for appetite, desire, and lunch or dinner time.
Bottomline: Knowing what they have and how they create, as well as many customers, I’ll be back in an impressive mode! With all that being said «Urban Grill is a Thrill!!»

So enjoyed having noodles instead of rice. Chicken was great nice grill taste. The beef was pretty good but it has a little bit on the sweet side to me. The hubby had the urban noodles which was steak, chicken and shrimp he thought the beef was great and the shrimp was okay. Pretty good size shrimp and pretty decent amount. There’s definitely no skimping here. Very small busy place alot of people coming and going. Fast service.

Always friendly service, come early to avoid the rush… getting ours to go. Want to relax at home and enjoy… love the urban combo

Chicken bowl all day. Place is right by the office and Its definitely one of my go to places.

Love this place the food is great and the service is amazing! I love the spicy noodle! And I love the server I think her name was Angela! She was great! And friendly, she was helpful I didn’t know what I wanted to get and she suggested varied of choices I could choose from. She was prefect! If you haven’t tried this place you should go and try!

Great food, freshlymade, when ordered, people got to understand that this place get really busy and learn to wait they make there food when you order. The cashiers are very friendly and nice customer service is great. Don’t get me wrong I go here to eat during lunch hour and I see some rude people order but the cashier still smiles at them, not many places or workers do that. Parking however is a pain when rush hour comes but that’s because it rush hour. The noodles and half and half bowl is to die for I can eat that everyday of my life. The menu have a lot of variety.

We order weekend lunches for our employees, and our employees and myself love the food.

Extremely bad phone ordering, she want me to hold ‘1sec’ and she won’t come back.
I try to call again 7 times and finally she got the phone so i said «i was holding 8mins cause you want me to hold…» She said «we’re so busy, what can i do for you?» COME ON!!! You have to say sorry first!?! Am i weird? When i hang on the phone she takes someone’s order and after that she talk to someone else and I don’t think it’s customer…
I love this place, cause food is good and close from my work place.

Ordered beef bowl and shrimp tempura plate. The beef was very chewy and tough. The shrimp was good and slices of orange were good, but the salad was very dry. The portions were good for the cost. Self serving sauce station was very good. The place was clean.
Bottom line:
Compared to other similar places that I’ve tried, the taste wasn’t there for me.

Thus place gives you the freshness and tenderness of teriyaki chicken bowls. It’s very good and does not cost much.

Of all the places I’ve been to, this has to be one of my favorites. The chicken is soft and juicy. The teriyaki sauce is delicious too!
Price is about $ 6 for a chicken bowl (half rice/​half veggie). They offer brown rice, but there white rice is MUCH better.
One downside though. It’s not anything big, but I haaaaate the taste of ginger. ABSOLUTELY HATE. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE jalapeños with my teriyaki bowls. Their jalapeños though… they taste as if they’ve been pickled in ginger juices :(I can taste it when I eat it, so it’s not that great, but I deal with it just so I can enjoy my meal as much as I can.
Highly recommend! It might not be your cup of tea, but you never know unless you try.

My boyfriend and I found this place a couple months ago & we absolutely love it!
Place is clean, food is good & portions are filling.
So far, I’ve tried their stir fried noodles and their combo plate which comes with a shrimp skewer, chicken & beef over rice, small side of salad and orange slices.
I don’t like thick and overly chewy meat but their beef is good! There’s barely any fat and they’re nice and thin.
Their stir fried noodles need a little bit more yakisoba sauce but other than that, it’s tasty.
The workers are friendly and very patient (this is a major plus only because I can be very indecisive).
Worth a try if you’re in the area! Plus, there’s a target that’s walking distance so if you’re a Target fanatic like me, go in, take a stroll while digesting your food.

Felt like I was cheating on Golden Bowl when I came here. Hahah. The aesthetic of this place + the service probably beats Golden Bowl. but food-​wise, I didn’t find my stir fried noodles with teriyaki chicken that great. The noodles didn’t taste like much unless I drenched it in soy sauce & sriracha. The chicken was also just okay to me. I’ll probably be back to try other items, but I wasn’t very satisfied with my visit today. I didn’t even finish half my order because it was just okay. Honestly I’m sure their food is great. Next time I will probably just pass on the noodles.

Wow… I think one of the best teriyaki place that I have tried in OC. The price is much lower than the quality of the food.
I have been eating here almost once a week which is very rare for me since I love trying new places.

Delicious food and extremely filling! I love the teriyaki and chili sauce you can add more on.
I had the beef and chicken plate. The beef is delicious and well cooked. I would say the chicken is a bit dry.
It comes with a small salad and and a slice of orange to squeeze on your food.

As soon as this place opened up, I knew we were going to be best friends haha! The one thing I love about this place is their variety & the amount of food they give you!
I’ve tried their chicken plate, beef plate & shrimp noodle plate. Out of the three, the beef plate is the BEST. I think it’s because of the sauce. The chicken is a bit on the dry side so I recommend getting a side of the teriyaki sauce that’s located by the soda machine. The shrimp noodle plate is alright but the shrimp was a little burnt. The stars go for the beef plate.
Their service may not be that good but the food definitely makes for it. I ALWAYS get be beef plate & love the fact that it comes with fruit (orange slices) AND vegetables (salad) & they pack the lunch plate with a ton of meat. Sometimes I can’t even finish it because of the amount of food. It’s a great combo of protein, and healthy stuff lol. But it’s soooo good!
Overall, I come here & I’ve recommended it to fellow coworkers & they love it too. Check in this place to get a little discount! GET THE BEEF PLATE PEOPLE! You’ll love the decision.

Chicken teriyaki always sounds good, and this place does it right. All their ingredients taste fresh — and that makes all the difference. Their chicken is tender and juicy, their rice doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting there all day, and their veggies seemed freshly steamed.
My go-​to is the mini chicken bowl. It’s just the right amount of food. You can opt for brown rice, white meat, all veggies, etc. There’s lots of ways to customize your order, which I appreciate. Those of us that want to be health conscious can appreciate that. My boyfriend’s go to is the urban plate. It has beef, chicken, and grilled shrimp. They had a special deal going on, since the grand opening, that included a drink along with the plate for $ 8.99. What a deal! It’s a lot of food… and everything tastes great.
I love that they have lots of options over by the soft drink station too. They have teriyaki sauce (of course), hot chili sauce, a yogurt sauce, sesame seeds, etc.
Stop by… it’s worth a shot!

Ordered Urban Grill Combo. Chicken was tender and Shrimp was not salty at all. And Not only it has Huge portion but also ½ of Orange as dessert, loved it! California roll was also really fresh.
Did not expect this kind of satisfaction when I saw the building from outside, but inside interior is modern, refreshing and clean. Definitely a place to go back for, hope next time they will still offer ½ of orange. :D
