I was quite surprised about the quality of food here. Of course I judge a book by its cover. I ordered one of the classics, the Chicken Katsu. It was quite good, but a little bit too hard, but delicious nonetheless. The cashier, Alixandra(the girl with the crazy colored hair) was quick with the order and was very professional. I would totally recommended this place for hanging out while enjoying good food.

Not bad! Got the Katsu combo plate which came with teriyaki steak and chicken. The big cabbage thing underneath the meat was really tasty as well. I went to school right up the street from this place, kinda sad I just barely found this place cuz I woulda went here alot more. The décor is cool too, kinda of a nautical theme. Is a good spot for quick business lunch.

Me and my boyfriend have been coming to this place for a while now and we’ve never been disappointed until today… Our cashier I think her name was yatsire Suleyma not sure if that was actually her, she had blonde/orange hair she wasn’t listening to what we were saying because it took her like 3 minutes to understand«an aloha plate with white fish and curry chicken» and on top of that she had a bad attitude? As if we had said something to offend her? I don’t know. But it just made everything less enjoyable.

I love Hawaiian BBQ! I’ve been to a bunch of different spots; LnL, Maui, and of course Ono is my favorite out of all three. The menu is fairly simply choose your protein and it comes with two scoops of rice and Mac salad(usually not a big fan of Mac salad but Ono does it right so I eat it now lol). I’ve read a few of the reviews and most of them say the portions are small?!? Not at all in my opinion, I got the chicken combo half katsu, half teriyaki chicken. There was a ton of food for under $ 10. I had it for lunch and I was stuffed! I usually ask them to cut the teriyaki chicken it usually comes with two large pieces, makes it a lot easier to eat. They also have really bomb teriyaki sauce. This is probably my 8th time here and it’s always consistent and filling!

Oh honey!!! This is the stuff of dreams. So yummy!!! Love the combo with various meat with rice and the macaroni salad with some extra sauce on the side to drench the chicken and rice. Wish we had these back home. Fantastic food for a great price.

Food is really good, quite expensive though. But at least they give you huge portions. But I still like coming here from time to time. The food is really tasty. Very Hawaiian esk. They have fresh coconut, plus all of the island drinks in their fridge. I have been a little leary of trying them since I feel I might not like them. Maybe next around I will get to trying one of them.

One of the best Ono locations I’ve ever been to. Not only is the food good but the interior décor is awesome! Very modern and clean. Had a minor hiccup as I had purchased a regular sized chicken combo which has an enormous amount of chicken katsu and always 3 – 4BBQ chicken pieces. I came here once and ended up with the usual katsu but only 1BBQ chicken piece. Buuuuut I’m not gonna sweat cause I’m usually too full to finish it all. Just wished I had leftovers for dinner!

Usually not a fan of Ono establishments due to workers not knowing how’s cook chicken properly has led me into food poisoning. After much harassment from friends and family I have finally given in, and went to this Ono locations. Much to my surprise, this Ono is one of the cleanest, neatest and most environmentally friendly establishments I had even been to. I highly recommend getting the BBQ chicken in a mini meal. Trust me, when you get it, it’s nothing near Mini. Highly recommend this place, it has turn me back into a believer.

I’ve been to a few other Ono’s in and around SoCal, and this location by far is one of the coolest and most modern in terms of its décor. Everything seems cooked to order, which means the wait time can be a bit extensive, relative to the usual fast food time. I’m not much of a meat eater, nor am I much of a fan of Hawaiian food. I usually go here because my husband and son loves to eat salty meat with white rice. I typically order the chicken and rice(with the side of mac of course). I’ve had Hawaiian food in Hawaii, and despite what other say, Ono, particularly this location, makes the chicken and short ribs fairly close to what’s «back home.» I, myself, love seafood, and wish they offered more than just fried shrimp or fish. I really want that super grilled, super charred shrimp to complement the rice. Instead, I have to settle for the panko-crusted shrimp. It’s okay, but it’s not worth the price this place charges. If you’re a meat eater, this is a pretty good place to go.

Ordered to go but this place was waaaay more modern looking than any other Hawaiian places I’ve gone. It would’ve nice to eat there. Food is always good. Service was fast. Parking is tough though. I think the prices are higher than other Hawaiian places.

This place is located in the Michaels and Dollar Tree shopping center. It’s near Panda Express. Been here a couple of times for lunch. I have gotten the same thing twice, the kalbi short rib plate which comes with rice and mac salad. Not a fan of the Mac salad or any pasta type salad. The short ribs were good, a bit fatty but good. They give you like 3 strips and it’s more than enough. I always end up with left overs. I also ordered the spam musubi. One order contains 2 spam musubis. My husband has gotten the soup noodles bowl with bbq beef, which he thought was just ok. He also tried their number 44 which contains bbq beef, 1 kalbi, 1 bbq chicken and 1 cut up piece of chicken katsu. The katsu was good. Overall, food is good and do was the service. Will be back to try other items.

What??? Why does this location look so modern? so hip? where am I? This can’t be Ono but, yes! Yes it is. So when this location first opened, I was wronged! I ordered their BBQ Mix plate that included grilled beef, grill chicken and chicke katsu. To my surprise, the grilled beef was burnt! Like cripsy black on one side. The cook was sneaky, he flipped beef pieces so the nice part was showing and the burnty parts facing towards the rice. I could have just let it go but I was happy that I didn’t. I called them up and complained. They apologized and mentioned that my next plate would be 50% off. I went 3 weeks later, I ordered. They gave me the discount and when I got home… My PLATE was perfect! The grilled beef and chicken was perfectly cooked. My Chicken Katsu was nicely crisped. Also, I really like how they use that sticky Japanese short grain rice. So I am like one of the few who hates mac pasta salad. So I asked if I could sub out it out with steamed cabbage, they said no problem! I really think the steam cabbage is a good compliment to the grilled meats. And their Ono teriyaki sauce. delicious sweet and savory. I admit, I like it better than Golden Bowl’s sauce. Besides the food, this location is really cozy. Don’t plan on coming here with more than 4 people. Also the sauces are located in the back near the soda machine.

~ Please remember to click the USEFUL, FUNNY and COOL buttons below if you feel it’s appropriate. It matters. First time visiting here. And I know almost nothing about Hawaiian Barbecue. Went here on a Saturday at about 11:30am. A few people eating inside at tables. Was greeted the moment I stepped in by a friendly girl working at the counter. I told her I’d never been there before, and she took that opportunity to pull out a menu and point out the types of food available, options, specials and such. I told her I needed to feed 5 people for a work lunch and was interested in one of the«family meals». She said the family meal is listed to feed 4 people, but I could probably stretch it to feed 5… or I could order some extra stuff. I decided to just take the family meal the way it comes and see how far it would stretch. I ordered Kahlua Pork, BBQ Chicken, and Beef as my three entrees and this comes with rice and macaroni salad. I was lured in by a coupon I found, and this $ 5 off brought the $ 35 bill down to $ 30. The girl directed me down the aisle to a sauce station where I selected and bagged up a bunch of different sauces and packets I thought people would like. I took one of everything for each person. Food was ready in a few short minutes. Carrying the order out to my vehicle, I was thinking«Wow, this bag weighs a LOT». I got back to the office and opened things up… and what a nice surprise. Every container was full of fantastic looking food, and it smelled GREAT. The portions were HUGE! All my employees came in, sat down and dived in. I have brought lunch every Saturday to my work for 20 years and I cannot remember having so many people loving the food this much. It was a hit with every one of them, and you know how hard it can be to satisfy a group. Each person had heaping plates full of food, and most people had second helpings of this or that. There was SOMUCHFOOD it was no problem to feed all five people. When this feeding frenzy was over and everyone left, I packed up the leftovers… and was surprised to find there was still enough to bring home. There is still more than enough of every item to have a nice meal at my home tonight. I swear these food containers are like an endless cornucopia of food that never ends… Look, guys… I fed 5 hungry adults some wonderful food today, they all loved it and had all they could hold, and it cost me about $ 6 each. The experience was pleasant, access was easy, the process was simple. How could you beat that? 5 stars is not enough!

Food here is great! They serve it in a large amount! The coconut juice is very delightful, I wish it was bigger though. I finished it in less than 30 seconds.

Just had their salads here and it was good. Good portion. Ok price BUT the red onions was way too much the flavor overpowered the whole salad. It should be a option that cashiers ask it tasted like a onion salad in the end

PROS: Under $ 9 a plate, huge portion size, clean area, FLAVOR, all of the meat is cooked properly. CONS: short ribs are too fatty, but maybe it was just the luck of the draw. Let the pictures speak for itself!

This new Hawaiian restaurant is one that truly will have you enter with a mental lei and an appetizing hula. Seeing the atmosphere and reading the menu could make you think you are in Hawaii. When you read, order, and eat, it will give you a hardy Aloha! With all of that being said, the diversity of their menu provides so many choices that you will want to go back and try all again and again. I am truly an Hawaiian grilled chicken advocate and what they offer heeds to my taste desires. Large in portion, very delicious, and reasonably priced can actually provide you with two meals(one for then and another for tomorrow). Also, love their Katsu chicken. Well cooked with delicious sauce makes you always want to order it. Their menu also contains delicious beef ribs that are also reasonably priced and outstanding in taste. Plus, every item you receive comes with side orders of rice, cabbage, and macaroni salad. Their teriyaki and Katsu sauces are wonderful additions to your meals. All are truly yummy, yummy in your tummy! If yo are an Hawaiian juice drinker, then here is a place for you! They have a diversity of them for you to pick. Plus, a soda machine that gives you many to choose for drinks. Add to them, a pineapple-made juice and all will quench your thirst in many ways. I was so happy to see they had opened and often go there more than one time a week. Again, with taste, size, and diversity, you will enjoy this place in so many ways. With this restaurant, Aloha will always be «hello» and never«good-bye!»

Hawaiian BBQ done right! So glad there is a great local spot! Customer service was great, I interacted with 3 employees, all friendly. The décor is also very modern and not a typical Hawaiian joint look. Best of all, food was all Delish. I ordered the #44BBQ chicken, beef and chicken katsu, and a 3 piece crab Rangoon, and wife had a katsu salad, vegetable noodle soup. All very tasty, we will be back!

Had the chicken katsu and it was delicious. Do yourself a favor and have the chicken with the katsu sauce AND the hot sauce packets. So good. Love the new feel of the place. Chill, Hawaiian vibe. Very spacious. Friendly staff. Overall nothing to complain about. As much as I love L&L, I’d actually much rather come here to Ono because the L&L in cypress is sooooo janky. Like I can’t stand it. Also. They sell young coconuts here! Waaay overpriced IMO but hey, if you’re craving it with your katsu or Hawaiian bbq, you got it.
