History

Established in 1978.

Bill planted his first vines in 1977 on the Mosby estate located 1 mile south of Buellton, California. The estate was originally part of a Spanish land grant, and Bill and wife Jeri live in the old 1853 De la Cuesta adobe located there. The winery tasting room is housed in the big red barn that was originally a carriage house. Over the years, Bill expanded on the number of Italian grape types and wines produced on the estate. Currently, Mosby winery produces over 10 different Italian varietals.
