Buellton Shell

The car wash malfunctioned twice in two months, both times the argumentative rude clerk told me it was my fault not the machines. I’m done with that station and their rude clerks!

I agree with Bill H. This Shell station sucks. Wouldn’t take my Shell card at the pump so had to go inside. Charged 15 gallons to the card, then went outside and the pump wouldn’t work. Tried to ask for help but the lady pretended not to speak English. Asked for the phone number of the regional headquarters and was given the number of the station. Called and got the same attendant, who then gave me another number to another person who didn’t speak English. This is unacceptable customer service. They said my card would be credited but we’ll see. It will probably take another hour of unacceptable customer service to get the credit for the 15 gallons. I left and went elsewhere. Who needs the stress and poor quality control.

The Shell station sucks, don’t buy a car wash if you’re not going to use it in 14 days because it won’t work and they will not refund it, they are very rude and racist! will not ever ever go back to that friggin station.
Over a $ 10 car Wash, just because I was two days over the 14 day date, that they don’t highlight!!! This is how they treat people on disability. At the very least, they should highlight valid for 14 days. I’ll see what the district attorney can do.

Good gas prices, good selection of snacks, clean and good window cleaning equipment. I would definitely make it a point to stop here again!

Great little place to stop. Nice to get some lower price gas these days was only 3.45 a gallon. Right off the freeway and easy to get on and off.

Decent priced gas compared to some of the surrounding cities. Use your Ralph’s card to save up to 20 cents per gallon. What else can I say about a gas station?

I will never return here after being talked down to by the rudest cashier I have ever met! I’m referring to the fat, rude one.

Typically, the cheapest gas in Santa Barbara County. Why? I have no idea but the Shell station is typically the least expensive gas if you are dependent on using a gas credit card to charge your gas. If you have cash, then drive toward Solvang by the Albertson’s and to to Tom’s Gas. Additionally, they also have a carwash that was recently refurbished with new brushes.

I stopped by cause I was working on some bridge in the area. Four stars for the fact they had NOS for 2 for $ 2. The gas is what you’d expect for a convenient location next to the freeway. Service seemed okay, used the restroom here too.

The place was under construction, that made it hard to use the restrooms, which did not have a door that stayed closed and were not that clean. Not the greatest experience. Better to stop somewhere else for the facilities.
Best thing to say is easy access to the freeway.

By the end of my experience here at «Buellton Shell» I would have rather siphoned gas out of a cop car. SLOWEST PEOPLE EVER. I get that you’re in a small town and everything, but seriously, put a little pep in your step please. For me?

This is my last stop out of town. Not cheap, but easy access to the freeway. Too, they have an air hose there.
