This is the same restaurant that used to be in Crestwood and now they are up the road in Buckner. They still have the New York styled food and deli. The deli is stocked with Boars Head meat and cheese and the sandwiches are fresh made. The sandwich board is expansive and the only problem you will have is which one to get. The pizza is New York style as well and is very good. To finish the visit I always get a fresh made canolli

The first time Frascelli’s caught my eye was on a midafternoon when I was starving and driving through the area, I saw the sign advertising two dollar slices of New York pizza between 2 and 5PM. That was one fantastic slice of authentic New York pie. I also noticed they had chicken salad, and made a mental note that the next time I was passing through I was going to try it out. And I’m extremely glad I did, because that is some amazing chicken salad. And I am a very picky chicken salad eater. They also have a large variety of very tasty sounding deli sandwiches in addition to the New York style pizza and chicken salad. I highly recommend Frascelli’s the next time you’re in Buckner.

I LOVE huge thin crust New York style pizzas that you can order by the slice, so I’m pretty jazzed about this locally owned deli & pizzeria. It’s not my favorite pizza, but it’s tasty and my kids love it. This is one of those reasonably-priced casual neighborhood places where everyone seems to know each other = love. Daily specials, plus a «happy hour» $ 1.50 pizza slices from 2−5pm. The staff is super friendly and family oriented, and they graciously offer to cut pizza slices in half and thirds for my kiddos. Plus, they carry Boar’s Head deli products, and they have delicious sweet tea. Ample seating inside and out, so you can enjoy a leisurely(or quick) meal with friends, workmates, and/or family.

I’d rather eat at stevos across the street. They have better pizza there and the owner is a great guy.

For this discerning pizza lover — this my favorite pie in the Greater Louisville Metro. Awesome hand tossed, great sauce. NY authentic. The oven char I lust after. When the hunger strikes, i happily drive 30 minutes one way past countless other kitchens for the taste this family owned joint offers. Five star good and service. Loses a star for me because of the limited hours. Call ahead. The also offer boars head hoagies, if you can skip on pizza. Love this place.
