History
Established in 1920.
The Calhoun House was built in 1920 as a modern Hotel by William and NoraLee Calhoun. It was advertised as a «fireproof building with electric lights & free baths». In the 1930s, the hotel was converted to a «boarding house» for people working on the Fontana Dam. The Calhoun House was totally renovated in 2007 by the current owners. Today’s guests enjoy a spacious 4 room suite with modern amenities, uniquely decorated, while maintaining the historic feel of the original house.
