Janet Schwartz, OD

Dr. Schwartz is really great! I’ve been seeing her for about 7 years now. She is a very kind, compassionate and friendly person. She is incredibly personable, she’s always available for me and she’s great at what she does. When I first got my contacts in high school, I had a thing about touching my eyes (haha), and she was really patient with me… must have spent over two hours with me.
My one and only complaint is that she doesn’t take insurance! Its killing me because I really don’t want to leave her practice. She’s so good and I know I won’t find anyone better (I’m a creature of habit– once I find something or someone that fits, I like to stick to it), but its pricey to have to pay it all out of pocket.

Dr. Schwartz provides excellent eye care. Two years ago, when I was having contact lens issues, she helped me find a different brand that helped keep my eyes hydrated.
This year, when it turned out that to get new glasses I needed some data that wasn’t on my prescription, Dr. Schwartz went above and beyond calling me back personally with the info.
Her office doesn’t take insurance, but I don’t have any, so that works out. :)
