Very helpful staff. I have always received great service and advice from this location. They carry the best brands and specialty running shoes. They will advise you on what kind of shoes you should get depending on your foot.
I recently went to buy an insole for my son who was having knee issues. With the good recommendation of the sales person the pain is gone!
I also had knee problem from wearing dress shoes a lot and race shoes most of my runs. The lady advised me on a pair of Hokas. I now wear them all the time when I am not working and my knee pain is gone! I have been to a foot doctor before which cost me a fortune in carbon insoles. For $ 130 and no co-​pay I am all fine now!

Best running store I have been to coast to coast and north and south of the U.S. Knowledgeable, accurate and eager to please all walks of life. Store layout is conducive to efficient and effective shopping and analysis. Jason was terrific and recommend working with him. He brought out four pairs of shoes and I loved each one AFTER he watched me walk. Each one was a little different than the other and the decision was tough to make and had to get two. Great socks, running attire, electronics and huge assortment of gels. They also give back in perpetuity $ 25 for every $ 500 purchased which is nice. I have to a lot of stores and the national chains and never walked out feeling like I was getting a noticeable different shoe. I couldn’t find these online either and believe me want to try this caliber of shoe versus saving a couple bucks and not getting the bang for your buck on your runs. Can’t wait to return after my 300 miles.

So I had mixed feelings before posting this but here goes. I went in to purchase an article of clothing one afternoon and approached the counter to pay (I wasn’t greeted at all either). The cashier (blonde short hair) was just soooo engaged in talking to another customer that she didn’t ask if I wanted to check out. They literally stood at the register staring straight ahead not even allowing me approach and pay! LOL. I even took out my wallet not wanting to «interrupt» her conversation and stood there for almost 10 MINUTES while they gabbed on about their kids races! Finally, I turned around and returned the piece back to the rack and left. The woman (manager??) was very rude and I will not be returning anytime soon. Bryn Mawr Running company, you all know better than this, please learn to be more courteous of your customers next time or you will start loosing more business and from the looks of your inventory you need it.

Outstanding customer service! These guys know their stuff and it’s amazing. They will assess your footprint, stride and foot strike and will determine what shoe would be best for you. It’s not about the labels; it’s about putting your foot in the best shoe with the best fit for you. Do yourself a favor and let them guide you to your best shoe. There is relationship building, qualifying questions and a tremendous wealth of product knowledge. The prices are the same as everywhere else with full service that’s friendly and helpful. Plus it’s a small local business, support them vs. a big box– you’ll be so pleased that you did!
(ps. there’s huge municipal parking lot ½ block away as well as street parking.)

There’s not a better place that you can go to find a pair of running shoes or equiptment. They have just about any kind of shoe you can find as well as a staff that is friendly and knowledgable. Prices aren’t cheap but they sell quality products that will last.

This is one of the best running stores I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to quite a lot. The level of knowledge their staff has (not to mention running PB’s) is amazing. They are super friendly and super helpful. Whether you’re an elite marathoner or just a running looking to shed a few pounds you will find what you’re looking for here and if you don’t know what you’re looking for these guys can help.
They have an amazing selections of track (and field!!) spikes and racing flats along with apparel for any season along with training aides of all sorts. They even have a nice little library of running books for purchase. Seriously, this store is GREAT!

I’ve recently gotten back into running and have to thank the folks at Bryn Mawr Running Co for helping me on my way. As a store, they have a great selection of running shoes, socks, clothing and other gear at fair prices & a very knowledgeable staff. But, beyond the store, it is amazing how much they do for the local running community. Between organized long runs, track workouts, social events and the races they organize and sponsor, all you need to do is walk in the door & they’ll get you what you need to get running and plugged into the local running scene.

Great, great running store. I went as a beginner runner and got all the help I needed picking shoes. I was terrified that they would look down on me because, at a size 24, I definitely don’t look like a runner. My experience could not have been any better — they treated me kindly and thoughtfully and were excited to get me started running. (On my way out, they said «Come back and let us know how it goes!») After I picked out my shoes, one of the people helping me suggested I check out the sale they were having on clothing. I asked if they carried plus sizes. They do — for men. Not for women (bummer, and the only reason I’m giving them a 4 instead of a 5).

The perfect place to find the running shoes that are just right for your feet and running habits. The super friendly and helpful staff offer expert advice and are willing to bring out 100 pairs of shoes if it will help you find the perfect pair for you. Also one of the very few running stores in the Philadelphia area where they actually have sales on shoes and clothing. No wonder everyone keeps ‘running back’ to this place. [TIP: if you find a make/​model you like, ask if they still have any of the older models in the back for you to try (they often do at Bryn Mawr running!) … chances are those are on sale.]

This past weekend I had a great experience at Bryn Mawr Running Company. The staff was so helpful examined my stride to see what sneakers would be best for my feet. They gave me 3 to pick from which all three felt better then any shoe I have tried before. They put me in a stability shoe because my ankles roll in a bit. I picked a great pair of sneakers and felt great about my purchase. I will never go back to a department store to buy running shoes again. I can tell already tell the running company saved me years of foot pain. I highly recommend this store for anyone who wants a good pair of shoes that works for them.
