Arkansas Fresh Cafe & Bakery

We visited from out of town and heard good things, so we were excited to try it. We walk in and there’s only one employee visible, who was just sitting in the dining area eating his lunch. We stood at the counter for at least 10 minutes until he decided to get up and ask another employee in the back to help us. That was awkward, and we were annoyed since we were pretty hungry. We asked if they had the meatball sandwich, which is on their online menu, and the guy said, «No, we haven’t had that in a while.» This item was one of the main reasons we went there. I noticed the sign for cupcakes but didn’t see any displayed. So I asked about cupcakes. Of course they didn’t have any of that either. The lady at the counter offered us cookies… $ 2.50 each and they weren’t even big! What a ripoff.
We ordered our food — most of our sandwiches were delicious. We had the turkey bacon, the chicken pesto, the ham and cheese, and the breakfast sandwich. All of which were pretty good. My dad ordered the Cuban… HUGE MISTAKE. It was awful. We’re not even sure what kind of meat they put in it, the sauce was not good, and they put it on sourdough bread. Who puts a Cuban on sourdough bread??? My dad got sick that night.
All in all, I would say you can give it a try and shell out some decent money. But make sure you order the right thing from their already limited menu.

This is the BEST lunch in town so if you are in the Benton/​Bryant area, CHECK IT OUT! The food is fresh and FAST and you’ll love the hip décor.

I got this catered to a work event yesterday. We all got the turkey bacon sandwich with Zapp’s original chips and a chocolate chip cookie. Here’s the breakdown:
Turkey Bacon Sandwich– so good! Fresh, quality ingredients. The bacon was crispy, not undercooked. They even add thin slices of green apple which I will be doing with my own sandwiches now. Very good! However, this is pretty pricey (from the online menu, just the sandwich and chips is almost $ 9, which is why I did not give 5 stars.
Chocolate Chip Cooke– THE BEST! This was a huge, full of chocolate, perfectly chewy cookie. As soon as I took I bite, I started asking my coworkers, like a kid in elementary school, if anyone didn’t want their cookie, because I would take it! Everyone ate every last crumb of their cookie. I will definitely eat here again, and buy all of the cookies.

Always helpful & knowledgeable people working here… Also friendly & personable –dark hair dude with facial hair & glasses taking orders is actually entertainment sometimes!
The food? I’ve yet to go wrong with anything here! Haven’t partaken in the sweets yet but the BLT, cuban, French Dip… I am not usually a big sandwich person, but I gladly hunt down theirs! Their housemade pickles are addictive… All of the ingredients always seem super fresh and some of the unique twists on old favorites are just a delightful surprise!

Good food and very fresh. Have some different and nice sandwich combinations with a little flair. Atmosphere is good. Prices seem a little high but not too much more than a fast food combo these days. Also serve breakfast and offer some nice baked goods (muffins, pie, cookies, etc.)

Arkansas Fresh Café is a winner my foodie book! Great, fresh food. A little high in price for lunch but well worth it. I will be returning (today)… Check out our local restaurant, it is well worth your time and money.

My fave place to eat in Bryant. I have loved everything I gave tried. The hamburgers are amazing.

This place is amazing — best shrimp po boy sandwich I ever ate! So good, I think I’d be willing to drive from Little Rock to eat that sand which again.

Went in to last week hoping to have one of my fav sandwiches that only the chef made for me I was told he was let go. So I ordered the turkey bacon and it was Nast did not taste like the ones I have had for last 6 months I also got a cup cake which was dry and stale all the cakes I the box looks like they been there for a while they use to have new stuff in there all the time when they first opened and now it’s the same old crap this place went from being my fav place to eat I was in at least 5 times a week but now you have that new guy in there I woant be back and will tell all my friends not to come back the new guy is very rude and don’t seem to know how to run a café so let him know thanx for running a awesome place!!!

Arkansas Fresh Café is great! They have fresh (surprise, surprise), tasty, mouthwatering sandwiches, salads, and pastries. They also have a special of the day, which is listed on their facebook page daily. The restaurant is small but very clean and welcoming. Check them out!

Very disappointed in the service today and my meal, I have been eating here for months and my sandwich was always great and today it was sloppy and my cupcake was old. The gentleman was extremely rude and was telling me it was fine, the little chubby guy has always made my food and even though he doesn’t say much his food was great and he was always nice .If I wanted a smart ass remark then I would have asked for one, if this how it is gonna be you have lost my business. Thank you

This café is wonderful. I have been here twice, and both times I have been extremely pleased with my food and the service. The chicken pesto sandwich is excellent. The peach pie was amazing. I have been with two other people, and they also love it! You can also buy freshly baked bread and sweets to take with you. I love this place!

I would have given this place 4 stars if not for all of the yelling. The take your name system is fine as long as you don’t have someone bellowing out names during your entire visit. My wife loved her salad and my sandwich was ok. Kids choices were grilled cheese. So I guess that means A choice. We had a chocolate cherry cookie that was holy moly amazing.
