Must Be Heaven provides a unique experience that brings you back to the good olé days of Ice Cream Shoppes and Hand Crafted Sandwiches. Everything from the hand painted décor to the old time atmosphere makes everyone slow down and enjoy the day. Pull up a chair and enjoy your sandwich with a cup of soup or fruit, add a slice of our homemade pie (we baked them fresh daily), you can even add a scoop of ice cream on top of the pie to make a perfect combination!

History

Established in 1987.

In 1987, Shirley Syptak purchased the original Must Be Heaven restaurant in beautiful, downtown Brenham, Texas from Connie Wilder.

Connie’s dream began in 1982 as a small candy and ice cream store offering a limited, but unique, menu of soups and sandwiches.

Shirley provided an experience like no other by serving her customers delicious, mouth-​watering soups, salads, and sandwiches as well as homemade pies, quiche, and fabulous old-​time creations, all enjoyed in a unique, quaint, and timeless atmosphere.

Must Be Heaven realize that because of today’s hectic lifestyles people are dining out more frequently than ever before. But everyone still craves that warm feeling that only comes from a home cooked meal. That is exactly what Must Be Heaven is all about: quality ingredients, outstanding service, and a fresh and varied menu.
