Always clean with nice displays. Just wish they offered delivery on more items than just appliances.

I only go here when looking for lumber… I give them cudos on always having a better lumber selection than their big competitor — we all know who that is. But I have to stop with 3 stars because I always find the tool selection to be a little lacking, and also the light bulb selection.

There is no help in any department. So we had to figure everything ourselves. We walked the whole store and still couldn’t find anyone.

I don’t know what is going on with this Lowe’s location… and maybe the holiday season is just making everything a bit crazy. But many items were in the incorrect locations and it was difficult to get help. Definite errors when items were scanned at the cashier — which fortunately I was on the lookout for and able to catch. But then that ended up being a whole time-killer as they voided the original prices and sent someone to verify the posted prices. Hopefully after the holiday season things will improve…

Could use some more floor employees to help customers. I frequently have to use my cell phone in them store to summon help. There is also a problem finding things in the store. Somebody needs to get control of the store’s inventory and make sure the computer database is accurate and current. Checkout at lumber often results in a customer pileup with large carts carrying bulky items running into each other. The store has also fallen into the habit of clogging the isles with products that seem to be put of place. Carts bump into them. On the plus side, their garden center is the best in the area. It would be even better if the store would hire more checkout people in the garden area during spring planting time.

Currently has a nice selection of mid-sized heirloom tomato plants such as Arkansas Traveler(pink), and German Johnson(also pink, one of the four grandparents to the«Mortgage Lifter», hybrid heirloom. Organic soil was at $ 7 for a 1.5 cubic liter, yet while we were there it went down to $ 4.97. Found that price in the back and it wasn’t scanning as that yet so we took an employee back to look at the prices(INTHEBACK) of the garden dept and sure enough it was lower by almost $ 2 per unit. Check your prices here carefully and when selecting something ask if they have the same product for sale somewhere else for less; as in this case where the employees were not aware of multiple prices in the store that all scan at the higher amount, they suggested that we shop around. Best advice I can give for shopping here… Make sure what you buy scans for what the price listed was. Even while we had a photo of the $ 4.97 price in the back, as opposed to the $ 6.97 price for Miracle Gro(right by the register) we still had to walk all the way back to the back of the store with an employee to show the price on the shelf. No biggie really, the guy was nice about it.

I’ve been shopping at the Bryan Lowes for years. Its one of those stores, like some bookstores, where I can lose track of time. I spent less time buying my first car than I did shopping for a quick-change drill set, a LED flashlight, a roll of duct tape, and some screws. But If I’m in a hurry I can get in and out; at Home Depot it takes me several minutes to find a given item, and 5 – 6 more to realize they are out of stock of that item.
