Found some great service here and at their«brother» location, Bryan Alternator today. Dealing with your car when it’s 101 °F can be a pain but this was actually fun and I’d frequent either business again. Here’s what happened. The A/C Delco Battery that came with my new Saturn off the lot 5 years ago was rated at 5 years. It died at 5 years and two months, ironically while I was parking in a loading zone down a snaked narrow driveway on one of the hottest days of the year. Isn’t that how it always works? While I have roadside assistance there would have been no way to tow the car from where it was parked. Luckily a kind soul gave us a jump and I made my way to Battery Warehouse on Texas Avenue right by the Villa Maria HEB. Why? The owner of one of these companies donated a $ 50FREE discount coupon to the local KAMUPBSTV station auction last year, and I was the winner of that. While it had expired two months ago(I held it over a year as I didn’t need a new battery just yet), the owner honored it. While they didn’t have the battery I needed at Battery Warehouse, they sent me down the street where the owners brother owns and operates Bryan Alternator. They had the proper battery, installed it, accepted my KAMUTV auction coupon that they very kindly donated to our community and here is their well deserved Unilocal rating. In looking at the other vehicles the locations were servicing, they come from everything from average people just needing help, to some of the more prominent businesses in the area. I highly suggest Battery Warehouse and Bryan Alternator, owned and operated by two brothers, fair honest folks that not only give back to the community but they helped us to be able to get past and smile about what could have been a really annoying vehicle break down. Two thumbs up, we like these guys!
