Description

Specialties

You’ll delight in the Southern hospitality as you’re welcomed with hugs and food so mouth-watering you’ll make a reservation for your next visit before you even leave. From fresh surf to good olé’ tweaked filet mignon and bison meatloaf… from Sapelo Island clam & shrimp capellini to a perfect mess of leaves. There’s something for every little taste bud to celebrate. And the desserts rival any that you’ve experienced from the most consummate genteel Southern Nana.

Executive Chef Andre Walls conceived The Southern Table’s remarkable menu. His culinary skills and striking smirk make for quite the combination! He keeps his creations fresh and unique.

History

Established in 2014.

The Southern Table and Bar opened its doors July 11, 2014 in historic downtown Brunswick. The town is a gem with beautiful buildings dating back to 1819 and serves as the gateway to the Golden Isles of Georgia. The Southern Table and Bar is a favorite meeting place for locals and a definite must for visitors. The atmosphere is one of classy Southern charm. You’ll notice the fabulous bouquets of cotton in vintage vases, the exclusive corner bar designed for intimate conversation, and the refined servers in their Trilby style hats and endearing accents awaiting the opportunity to ensure this occasion is an unforgettable one. Every night is a party, fun and lively.

Owners Stacy Bass and Jay Anderson are much loved and known about town as true Southern gentlemen that simply like to entertain. Both handsome men hail from South Georgia, Stacy from Baxley and Jay from Swainsboro. They are sophisticated and elegant, yet downhome salt of the earth people.
