Raphael’s School of Beauty Culture Salon

We have 3 boys and have been going here for a while since it’s inexpensive and close to home. We typically save $ 20 per visit based on the cost at other local salons. Unfortunately, we had our first bad experience, they gave my 8 year old son a buzz cut by mistake in the middle of winter. I asked for a cut that was several inches in length. The girl that did the cut obviously didn’t understand what I wanted, but the cut was so short, he almost had bald spots. She walked away from him while he was crying without even apologizing to us. Her manager gave us a free haircut when she realized what happened, but now my kids never want to go back there again. If you go here, you need to make sure the student that cuts your hair COMPLETELY understands what you want. If not, get their manager or someone else. It’s a teaching salon, so you need to expect that the girls are still learning, but it’s still a business so you should expect good service.

Came here after a meeting for a pedicure. Princess Sam did my service. She did an excellent job. I waited only a few minutes before sitting down. I was welcomed immediately. Great service here. Highly recommended

Don’t go here expecting a whole lot. Sure you can get a haircut and other beauty treatments but first this is a beauty college.
They may or may not know how to cut hair depending on who you get. Being a school there is a large turn over.
They may know the skill but they do not teach customer service and dealing with customers.
I was there and I ending up waiting a hour and then walked out. I was waiting and after a hour of nobody be called and it was nobody! I asked how much longer it would be. They could not give me answer. What amazed me that the other people there where willing to wait even longer that came in after me. I got my money back and will never return.
