Kaitlynn’s has an old fashioned ice cream fountain were you can get about anything you can imagine and our cheesecakes are made by Kaitlynn herself!

History

Established in 2011.

I was in high school when I started a made-​to-​order cheesecake business. As I got closer to graduating from high school, people encouraged me to open a shop.

After graduation, I decided I would, indeed, open my own shop. As I started writing my business plan, I discovered that opening a shop that sold only cheesecake in a town of 900 people would not work. After doing much research, I decided that ice cream, sandwiches, and a deli would be the perfect additions.

Throughout the process of writing my business plan and opening my shop, God really blessed me with wonderful people who provided counsel and direction. After a year of planning and hard work Kaitlynn’s opened on April 5, 2011.

I grew up in an entrepreneurial family. We have a farm and bed and breakfast, and that experience of working for yourself and with your family is special. So when I was thinking about what I wanted for my future I decided to continue in that path and open my own shop.
