Ivy Nails

Just left Ivy Nails. It was my first visit there, as I am new to the area & have been searching for a new nail salon to regularly go to. After reading all of the wonderful reviews, I decided to try Ivy Nails. Unfortunately, I was unimpressed. I will say, they got me in for my appointment on time, so I appreciate that. However, I felt rushed to pick a color. Also, I was never asked if I wanted square or rounded nails or if I wanted them cut or filed down. She cut them all short, which is not what I wanted. She also did a sloppy job & left gel polish on my skin. After the last round under the light, she said I was done. She did not wipe off the residue or massage my hands. What I don’t understand is that another girl who was there getting a manicure was having her nails wiped off with alcohol after her manicure was done. I didn’t stay to see if she got a hand massage or not. It was very unfortunate; I wanted to be done searching for a regular salon. I guess I will continue my search.
I give this ²⁄₅ and not ¹⁄₅ because their prices were fair, and they did get me in for my appointment on time.

I have visited quite a few nail salons in my day, and Ivy Nails is top-​notch. Yesterday, I stopped in shortly after 5 pm. There were several people already waiting, and I expected a bit of a wait. In less than 10 minutes I was seated and having my nails done by the owner. She offered beautiful options for my nails, and I LOVE the end results. The fill is perfect, and the polish is better than I could have dreamed up.

Best fill-​in I’ve had! I’ve gone to many salons around Hendricks County and they are, by far, the cleanest and have the best selection of gel polishes. They don’t try to up-​sale you on other products or services either. Very fast and kind as well.

This place works very hard to give their customers great service for an affordable price. They can be a little slow, but if you have plenty of time. I always enjoy it here.
