Music Lessons tailored to your interests and level, all ages welcome! Guitar, Piano, Voice, Flute, Bass, And Drums. All of our teachers are very versatile and able to teach many different styles. We love all styles of music and are here to accommodate your areas of interest. We are very experienced with absolute beginners as well as advanced players.

History

Established in 1998.

Owner, Jeff Sollohub, has been teaching since 1994 and has put together the best staff to help you. At the Sollohub School of Music, we believe in customized instruction, tailoring the lessons according to the students interests and goals. «One size does not fit all.» We only offer one-​on-​one instruction, having seen how much more beneficial it is over group lessons. In a group setting, students tend to be frustrated, feeling things are moving too quickly or too slowly, as well as not necessarily enjoying the material. Private instruction provides the personal direction needed to make learning an instrument fun, the attention to ensure the student progresses as quickly as possible, and the individual focus to accommodate the students interests.

Business Owner

Owner and head guitar instructor at Sollohub Music. Before that, Head Guitar instructor at Stubb’s Music for 6yrs in Tallahassee, Fl. Head instructor at Musician’s Superstore, Well’s Music, and The Music and Arts Center in Denver before opening his own school. Jeff has since been teachings students of all ages, interests, and levels for over 20 years. It has never been lost on him just how lucky he is to play and teach music for a living. He feels so lucky to be a positive force in people’s lives, the best part of their week for many.

He comes from a family of teachers and principals and has learned so much about the qualities and ideals that make for a great teacher and has put together an unparalleled staff. Jeff listens to, and has studied, every possible style from rock to classical, country to rap, blues to salsa, metal to jazz, etc. He holds a Degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music
