I had the most amazing experience with Pete Wybenga at Flatiron Marketplace. When my husband and I walked in and said I needed glasses, he studied my face and invited us to look around while he gathered frames he thought would suit me. He brought back a tray-full, of which only 2 – 3 we rejected after trying on. The rest were great frames. We winnowed the choices down to three pair, any of which would have been super great. The three of us chose the perfect pair for me — edgy and interesting but not weird. And very flattering. His remarks while trying on were very helpful. Pete then spent a lot of time measuring to make sure that the progressive lenses would fit correctly. He was the absolute best and made shopping so enjoyable.

I have very specific and hard to fill eyeglasses requirements and this store has been the most successful of any I have tried. This visit was for a small repair, but I currently have 3 pairs from here and would update them here as needed. Very competent and friendly staff.

This review is for both the Cherry Creek and Flatirons locations. I went in to look at frames at the CC location and the woman was just plain rude. They don’t take my insurance but offered me 20% off my purchase, and she said they would order a new pair of frames for me. When I called to order from the Flatirons location(closer to my office), they said they had a pair and would have it at this location in a few days But that my discount was only 15%. They did promptly call me, and when I went to pick them up the frames were FLOORMODEL frames, which is the same to me as used frames– how can you guarantee that people haven’t dropped them and caused cracks in the frame? I was very annoyed. The woman just gave me a blank stare and acted irritated when i asked her to order me a NEW pair. Their customer service and pleasantness seems to be majorly lacking, and I think their prices for lenses are ridiculously high! If you can only find the frames you want order them here, but that’s the most business they’ll be getting from me.

The selection of frames at this location has gone way down in the recent year. Most of the nicer brands have gone to the Cherry Creek store it seems. That location is just plain horrible with rude and snotty service. My big complaint is that my husband and I have purchased many many pairs of glasses here– not a cheap brand either! One pair of my husband’s recently broke and since he had is for more than 1 year– the gal who helped us wouldn’t even look at fixing it. Seemed like a minor repair too. She suggested we go get it fixed at jewelry store. That’s just poor customer service in my book. We won’t buy from Europtics anymore. What a shame as we really used to like this place and have spent plenty here.

DON’T GOHERE!!! Their customer service doesn’t exist! Once you leave their immediate presence you don’t exist. They promise to call you or to follow up and will NEVER call you. My frames were in the store for 3 weeks before I had to go in to find out what the problem was to discover they had been there all along. Then after being promised a phone call about how long the lab would take… nothing. Had to call them and again was promised a call back, and once again NOTHING! Not until I told them I was canceling and having my bank proceed with fraud charges did they magically produce my glasses the next day. No apologies about their service or the constant intentional lying from employees TJ and Sarah. Absolutely a horrible experience and one that I will NEVER do again.

I had been to multiple other eyeglass retailers, and most of them do not help a customer when they are browsing. Not only that, but I had been having a hard time finding frames I liked. The moment I walked into Europtics, all of the employees not with other customers greeted me. Lindsay helped me, with her manager TJ helping her whenever need. I never even had to lift a finger to find frames. She pulled almost 25 – 30 frames from all over the store to find a pair that would fit my face… and I found a perfect frame. I’d never seen such amazing service. On top of that, their frames are very unique, and they have such a large selection. I’d recommend this place to anyone. They are a bit pricey, but I think I’d choose pricey and perfect over inexpensive and«just alright» any day of the week.
