We specialize in Archery Lessons and Instruction especially for new shooters. We hold 5 classes every week that anyone can attend. No appointments necessary.

Private instruction is also available with an appointment.

We have a 28 lane, 20 yard indoor archery range.

Three different leagues you could join for company.

Year round shooting. Some retail gear available.

Bow Repair

We build customized arrows and bow string on site.

History

Established in 2013.

Glenn and Mike Schultz have been in archery for decades. They have done almost everything related to archery. From Bowhunting, competitions and fun recreational shooting to repairs on equipment.

Glenn and Mike now focus their energy to the newest generation of shooters and with great success. They have helped coach over 20 National Champions and over 50 State Champions in the last 10 years.

I could not possibly think of saying something bad about this range. The staff is exceptional. The facilities are nice. And 50cent sodas and teas are a plus. Glenn Mike Alana all make this place exceptional. I went with my dad once as a random outting and we were helped personally by Glenn until we were ready to shoot. To start we were aweful shots, but they worked with us with extreme patience and now we go there multiple times a week with bows/​arrows and other equipment we purchased through the empty quiver. They take care of you and your stuff even offering to fix some things for us and making me a brand new custom string for my bow. It really is always a joy to be at the empty quiver.

My wife and I are fairly new shooters, and we’re fairly new to Colorado. We desperately miss our old shop, but feel like we’ve found a new home here. All of the staff are friendly and extremely helpful, and the prices are really affordable.
But it’s their open beginner classes that are the real deal. There are five different sessions scheduled each week, open for anyone to attend. They have a number of very young, but very knowledgeable instructors on hand for each class, such that each student can get as much attention as needed to improve their game.
My wife and I are very different shooters – she’s working with traditional, and I shoot compound. She’s still feeling like she’s getting the basics down, and the direct assistance she got today really improved her grouping and confidence. I wanted a form check, and the few gentle tweaks that were suggested to me really settled down my shooting as well.
Highly recommended. Empty Quiver clearly is developing the next generation of archers, and it has always been a pleasure doing business with them.

We took our 12 year old son here and found the best place ever! What a terrific group of supportive, knowledgable and helpful people!
The group that was practicing the night we visited, invited our son to participate in a game with them, he had a blast! Unlike other archery places, we weren’t pressured to purchase more expensive equipment. They let us borrow some arrows and anything else we needed to use while we were there.
We will definitely be back!

We started coming here with a lesson back in January, and this place is great! Indoor range, all of the instructors are national champions, expert advice, and friendly clientele. We had my son’s birthday party here, and the kids had a great time.
As a family, we actually have an archery night. And the prices are good enough that we can come a couple times a week without going broke!

My favorite archery. The owner is awesome and very knowledgeable in the art. They also sell local hand made cases. Classes for kids and adults. Everyone who goes here is friendly and nice. Just need more lanes but space is limited. Their prices are very fair. And if you need to rent equipment they take good care of it.

Awesome for beginners like me! The staff is incredibly friendly and laid-​back. They welcome you in, asked us how we enjoyed it, and thanked us for stopping by.
One-​day pass is $ 7, and equipment rental (everything) for $ 5, plus a paper target. You pin up your target your self at 10 yards or 20, and then fire away for as long as you want. They also have intro classes for $ 15.
The owner and employees will sometimes walk around to check on people, and let you know (kindly) if you’re doing something really stupid.
Be sure to use the Unilocal discount ($ 8 for $ 15 voucher) if it’s still available!

I was a little intimidated walking into this place as a first timer but my fears quickly disappeared. We were helped by a very friendly woman who walked us through how the range works, and gave us mini lessons as well. Throughout the time we were there the staff continued to walk around and assist us as needed. The owner noticed my cousin was drawing too far and suggested he use longer arrows.
A one day pass is $ 7 and equipment rental is $ 5 so for $ 12 you can stay there to your hearts content. They could definitely charge more for a day rate or even charge hourly but you can tell they just care about safety and making sure people have a good time.
It’s a great way to spend time and relatively cheap as well.

My son and I have officially become regulars here! This is due directly to the inviting atmosphere and the supportive staff. Empty Quiver is the most family oriented, well lit range that I have been to.

My daughters and I have been shooting for about a year and a half now. We were moving from Hawaii to Colorado and I looked for an archery range close to our new house. Empty Quiver was only 15 minutes away so we decided to check it out. I’m really glad we did. This is an awesome range. The owners and employees are really friendly and helpful. The range is clean and well kept. As far as indoor ranges go, you can’t beat the price. At $ 7 for an entire day (and, yes, you can leave and come back with no additional charges) it’s a real bargain. In Hawaii, there is an indoor range that recently opened. They charge $ 10 an hour! As far as I’m concerned, Empty Quiver Archery can’t be beat. Although it looks like we’ll be returning to Hawaii, I’m definitely going to visit Empty Quiver when I’m in town.

I have to agree with everything that has been said about Empty Quiver. They were so friendly and accomodating on our initial visit to gather information that we went back the same day and did our first class and have been back regularly ever since.
We visited other ranges before we went to Empty Quiver, but we felt so welcomed by Glenn, Mike and their staff that there was no comparison to the other places. This is not a knock on the other ranges as they were friendly and helpful as well, but the guys at Empty Quiver take it to another level. They have a rare combination of passion for archery coupled with the ability to make everyone comfortable regardless of skill level. It is quite obvious that the business aspect of the range is secondary to the love they have for archery and they try and share this with everyone that comes in. I believe their ideals for the range are Safety, Fun and then business.
I don’t know if this is true of other ranges, but kids are welcomed as much as adults.

Our whole family shoots at Empty Quiver Archery. Owners Mike and Glen are amazing teachers and have a passion for archery that is quite contagious. They are generous with their time, providing great coaching for beginners as well as support for more advanced shooters.
The range is big and bright. The community that has formed here is friendly and welcoming. A great affordable activity for the whole family.

Go here — you won’t regret it! We go to their open lessons twice a week. Our boys, ages 5 and 8 love it and so do we. The boys get help and we get to shoot without having to worry about them. You’ll never find nicer people!

The place is clean and the coaches are knowledgeable and patient. they actually like what they are doing and are happy to have you there. I recently had the pro shop at Empty Quiver Archery repair serving for two of my bows. They do excellent work! They also checked my cam alignment to ensure a proper tune and let me shoot at their indoor range to confirm proper peep alignment after all work was completed. I purchased a dozen arrows because I was so impressed with their quality of work and their competitive pricing.
