We are committed to serving good wholesome ‘real’ quality that you can be proud of sharing with your family and friends. Unlike other restaurants that are driven by cutting cost with low quality ingredients & play on word advertising we choose our ingredients strictly by quality & flavor. How do we do this? Like no place else! We do not allow our local vendors to share the cost with us until we have made our final decision. Then we negotiate cost and price our menu accordingly. We believe that our unique approach is what helps solidify our reputation of serving the best gourmet pizza in the area. Quality and price go hand in hand, there is no way around it.
You can’t make great pizza from bad ingredients. It’s simply our business philosophy.

Meet the Business Owner
Ted and Cyndi D.
Business Owner
Ted and Cyndi Dorr have been pizza fanatics for as long as they can remember. Cyndi started off her pizza career when she was just a teenager, using her amazing work ethic and «get-it-done» attitude. Ted’s pizza career started off as a pizza delivery driver, and he soon realized he not only loved making pizzas, but he was really good at it. Ted competed regionally in the World’s Fastest Pizza Maker competition for 15 years straight, and always placed in the top 3. Ted & Cyndi’s paths crossed in 1993 when they both worked for a major pizza chain in Colorado, and it was pizza love at first sight. They were married in 1996, and as Ted explains it, «Pizza is in our DNA.»
Ten years later, they are still working for the same major chain and they still loved pizza, so they set off to make a better pizza and a better pizza company. In 2006, Double D’s Sourdough Pizza was born.
