I have been bringing my dog (golden retriever) here for about a year after my neighbor recommended it, since he was bringing his yellow lab pup in.
At first, I loved this place (since having a large dog I worry about hip and joint issues and swing helps the pressure).
Today my neighbor came home and told me he was told he was only allowed to come in for private sessions… I asked him how much and it’s $ 30 ½ hour!!! I asked him what happened and he explained his lab was stealing a toy from a gentleman (he has the exact same toy at home). No biting or aggression, just puppy misbehavior. He is a 11 month old lab!!! I have done rescue for years and most know this is a regular for most labs till 2 years old or such.
As a member I am pissed! I love this dog and while he is a handful, it’s playful. My suggestion to the future is not to have «open swim» unless people are prepared to have playful dogs. If people want just toss time, then have a «working time». Don’t just toss people out without a warning. I have seen much worse behavior with other dogs and not a word was said. I am so disappointed!!! I will no longer be recommending this facility to anyone! I will also take them off my list for pet friendly facilities. Do not come here till they change their policies!

This place is awesome. I have a 110 lb German Shepherd who’s getting old and has bad knees Before we started at CRCG about 6 months ago, he was gaining weight, acting sluggish, and requiring daily medication for his knees. Then we started taking him swimming and he lost 10 lbs, became his old energetic self, and we were even able to take him off his medication. I MUCH prefer spending money on holistic care that makes him HAPPY rather than medical care that may help but requires shoving a pill down his mouth, stressful trips to the vet, and blood draws. (I say this as a nurse who deeply values appropriate medical care for both humans and pets!) Roland absolutely loves swimming. The staff at CRCG know him by name and are all so wonderful and friendly and truly understand of how special he is to me, as well as mindful of all his little personality quirks. Becky and Ashley give him wonderful massages each month (we are Fetch Members so he gets 15 minutes free) and Jessica is usually at the front desk to check us in and say hello. Also Carrie, the trainer, has done a great job and gone way out of her way to help me when Roland was starting to misbehave. The play area is so cool with all kinds of special tunnels and toys and balancing apparatuses to strengthen the dogs in other ways besides swimming. I always see people using the rehab equipment too, with all kinds of dogs who appear to have tons of different injuries/​ailments. I just can’t say how glad I am to have found this place. The whole atmosphere is great and I just love what they stand for in general, which is focus on strength, conditioning, and rehab of dogs as a huge and vital part of their basic care. The only negative thing I can think of is that because the nature of open swim time is that anyone can show up, there have been a number of people who are there and paying absolutely no attention to their dogs. So I would recommend being very careful but with a little bit of basic vigilance, there shouldn’t be a problem. If you can’t already tell, I highly, highly recommend this place.

Heads UP! This is going to be a little bit lengthy but I feel it is worth the read. I attended CRCG for almost 2 years with my girl Bella. Before they offered memberships I use to pay the $ 15 for an hour 2 – 3 times a week during the winter months. Bella is of the boxy headed dogs most people will deem pit bull which is why I have put forth the extra effort to make her obedient. It really hasn’t been a difficult task since she already is pretty mellow and a sweetheart. When we attended CRCG during the busy times (weekends) I make sure to keep eyes on her and other dogs. I am pretty much familiar with a lot of the dogs that attend CRCG given my 2 year devotion and I can easily notice the newcomers. In almost 2 years, Bella and I have never had an issue with any other dogs and I make sure to keep her away from dogs that appear to be a little sketchy. Recently, there was a golden retriever whom coward (head down, tail low, eyes fixed) at a lab that was approaching its tennis balls. The owner pet the dog while he did this attempting to comfort (petting is rewarding and not necessarily advised during this behavior) his dog. After that I heightened my awareness in order to keep Bella away from that dog. Just a few minutes after, Bella came out of the ramp, dropped her toy in order to cough out water and walked off the ramp without her toy, the retriever was right there with his tennis balls and attacked, I was in the midst of getting another toy to get Bella’s attention when the scuffle broke out. The guy and I broke up the scuffle and I asked, «Was it the tennis balls?» implying his dog was protective of his balls. The owner replied, «oh no, he’s not toy aggressive». I feel he is a little in denial or unsure of dog behavior. The owner left. A day or so later I receive a phone call from Lori, the owner, asking me to only bring Bella to reserve swim (it costs a $ 1 the minute) because of aggression issues. I, of course, became a bit defensive because I know Bella and several people that go there know Bella and aggressive is definitely not an adjective to describe her. She proceeds to tell me there have been «various complaints» about her growling. Yes, she does bounce around wagging her tail (tail is up not down when she growls) excited wanting someone to play tug with or someone to throw the toy in the water. In all fairness, most dogs growl, bark, whine, whimper, and make their own noise. I really think it would have been appropriate to talk to me about these «various complaints» (the reason I quote this is because yes Lori stated this and because when I’m in the pool people actually compliment Bella’s obedience so I find this accusation suspicious) but no, Lori decided based on shear hear say that Bella needs to go to reserve swim. Lori never spoke to me, never asked for my side of the story, didn’t witness the scuffle, didn’t ask to bring Bella in for evaluation, didn’t recommend a supervised second chance… NOTHING! Quite honestly, I had never seen Lori up until the end of January when the pool finally opened after almost 2 months of construction. I didn’t know who she was, she never smiled, never welcomed anyone, never engaged customers in conversation, never behaved the way an appreciative owner would. In addition to all this, the pool was closed for almost 2 months for construction, Dec/​Jan, yes the membership was still charged to my card. I asked if there was going to be any compensation for those months and I was told that I can either get a free month at the end of my membership or request for January to be refunded. I opted for January to be refunded because by the time our membership would end, it is summer time and Bella and I spend the time out doors. When this was discussed it was towards the end of Jan and I was basically told that it would be an inconvenience to refund Jan but that they wouldn’t charge for Feb. I agreed. Well, this whole debacle of me being asked to bring Bella to reserve swim occurred within the first 3 days of Feb. Therefore, we were unable to take advantage of paid services. To add insult to injury, I stated I wasn’t returning. I felt unappreciated as a loyal customer whom once spoke highly of this place to everyone who would stop and chat with me about Bella, as someone who has brought her friends with dogs, as someone who was going to spend more money enlisting my other girl. I really feel mistreated and more importantly, Bella has been entirely and unfairly labeled without opportunity of redemption. I have called Lori to her cell about the refund, no answer, yet I receive an email, which clearly gives me the impression she rather not speak to me. She then presents to me with the option of «releasing me from my membership without the cancellation fee» instead of refunding me January. I emailed back at the beginning of Feb and have yet to hear a response. I’m guessing she’s hoping I forget about all this and keeps the measly $ 40 which looks like she desperately needs.

While I have stopped going here due to moving out of state I can’t say how much this place helped my husbands and I’s dog Rory. Dr. Kristyn was amazing with Rory and even gave us advice when other issues appeared with her. I wish we were still living in the area and were able to continue Rory’s therapy. While she isn’t back to a «normal» walk she does walk which is a complete 180 from where she was when we first brought her in! Thanks for everything you guys did for Rory!

Brought my 4 year old pup here today and he absolutely loved it. They have a one hour max for your dog to swim but that is plenty of time to tire out my very hyper dog. Will definitely be doing the monthly membership!

I wish I had found this place earlier because Lily, my one-​year-​old Border Collie, LOVES it after three visits!
While the initial visit and «follow-​up» reserved swim time were a bit pricey relative to other indoor dog swim places around Denver, the monthly membership makes up for it tenfold. At the rate we’re coming (2 – 3 times per week), Lily will soon be averaging less than $ 5 per hour for swim time!
The one on one initial visit and reserved swim followup went very well, with the employees using encouragement and lots of hands-​on to get Lily confidant enough to swim on her own.
While there are times on the weekend when the pool is a bit too crowded for our shy personalities, I am absolutely thrilled with how quickly she has taken to swimming and look forward to bringing her for as long as she enjoys it.
As mentioned, the staff have been great and the facility is clean and organized and even includes dog life vests, towels, and pool toys free for use.

I took my dog there for the first time and it cost me $ 24 for a swim with help from an employee they didn’t tell me the second time would be $ 60. I felt ripped off. They refused to let me talk to a manager. What a shady company.

LOVE CRCG!!! Everyone is friendly and caring. Dr. Kristyn Richardson is the best. She has helped my fur kids Gizmo and Jazz so much. Giz has less pain and more mobility than he would have had if he hadn’t been treated at CRCG. I’ve referred people there and their dogs are better as well. I don’t want to think where Giz would be if we hadn’t found Kristyn. She’s a great resource for me as well as being willing to consult with my vets. The kids love her too, although Gizmo is never happy to walk in the water treadmill. Thanks to everyone there!
