Altruic’s mission is to Help Nonprofits Create Good. We are a CPA firm focused entirely on nonprofit organizations. We offer audit, review, compilation, tax, outsourced accounting, internal control assessments, and consultation services to nonprofits from startups to large organizations. We are affordable, experienced, and friendly.

Our outsourced accounting service, branded as «CFO Solutions», offers CPA-​level accounting in the cloud, with portal storage of all documents, online approval of all vendor invoices, at a low, flat, monthly rate.

History

Established in 2012.

The firm was started in 2012 in response to several unmet needs within nonprofit organizations. After interviewing nearly 100 nonprofit executive directors, program directors, and board members, we learned there was often a disconnect between what nonprofit organizations needed on a day-​to-​day basis and what nonprofit organizations received from their CPA firm at year-​end. We believed that a CPA firm could deliver what nonprofits needed here and now, provide value in real time, and keep the costs affordable.

From the start, the firm’s mission statement has been to: «Help Nonprofits Create Good». Since the firm only works with nonprofit organizations, we are able to create certain efficiencies that we pass on to our nonprofit clients.
