History

Established in 1971.

Family owned local business since 1971. Started by the current owners’ parents, when they wanted a flagpole for their home and couldn’t find any for sale in the area. Grew to a home based business supplying US flags to schools and businesses, and then, to our retail location since 1993.

Need a flagpole installed in your yard? Charlie at Flag & Sign Place is professional and experienced, and will get it taken care of. They can help you select the right pole (fiberglass? aluminum? So many choices!), and they also carry the full range of flag and hardware needs. Now that Flag Lady Gifts is closed (rest in peace), this will be my go to place for US flags and poles.

I believe anyone has a right to fly whatever flag they want to in America, but people who sell the flags of those who take up arms against the US should be put out of business. Why is it okay to sell confederate flags, which represent traitors and slave owners.
The owner of this store was quoted as saying «I’m inclined to agree with the states. They have certain rights that should be separate from the federal government». Well, sir, those states did not have the right to rebel against our great nation, and they murdered their countrymen to preserve one of the worst abominations of human history. They also marched into Pennsylvania to burn our towns and kill our citizens in the name of the morally rotten institution of slavery.
Support stores that do not support «states rights» to slavery!

What do you mean you don’t need a flag! At one time or another I’ll bet everyone has had some type of flag. Maybe you want to show your patriotism with an American flag. If you’re from another country you may want that flag. How about a military flag or a state flag or a Christmas flag or even a flag with your monogram on it? If it’s been made onto a flag it’s probably here. They come in every shape and size imaginable. They even have flag decals and badges etc. This is one cool place.
