Place closed; it will not be missed, they had too many creeps at the bar, and then the prices to speak of. Something great will come in the aftermath.

When I’m told (with attitude) that vegetarians always asked to be accommodated, that’s when I leave. Rude commentary will not be tolerated.

This place is a hit and miss, I was there about a month ago and the steak was amazing, so I decided to take my friends there and it was horrible. Me and my friends steak was well done when We asked for medium rare, and when we told the waitress all she said was sorry, but I’m not the one who cooks the food… Hit or miss, no consistency with this place.

Came her for an afternoon lunch on a saturday. The restaurant was fairly empty. The restaurant have a bar up front with seats in the back and seats outside.
We had the fried calamari and mushroom and goat cheese quesadilla as appetizers. I had the steak wrap while my friend had the saloon burger. The calamari wasn’t what we expected. It was not as flavorful and the batter was not evenly mixed on certain pieces. The quesadilla was a delicious surprise. Had a good amount of fresh mushrooms and perfect portion of goat cheese. My steak wrap looked good but steak was a little too chewy Besides that, the wrap was pretty good.
Services was ok but food did take a little longer than expected even though they were not busy. Portions were big.

I came here with a friend for a Saturday lunch. It wasn’t full for the afternoon and in total there were only seven patrons, me and my friend included. The place has the bar restaurant feel. I can see it being livelier at night and maybe with a game on and a bunch of people at the bar.
We started with their calamari and quesadilla with mushroom and goat cheese. The calamari was a bit bland if it wasn’t for their the sauce that came with it. That would’ve been fine if the calamari were evenly coated, which they weren’t. Some pieces were covered with a thick layer of batter and other spots were completely bare as if there was no batter applied. Not the worst calamari I’ve ever had but not exactly my ideal variation. The quesadilla was much better. Fresh mushrooms and tasty goat cheese. I would’ve liked a meat option, but this was lite and healthier. I enjoyed it very much.
My friend had the steak wrap and I had the saloon burger. Both came with fries. The saloon burger had a special sauce, which was a bit like mayo and maybe some Dijon but I wasn’t sure what I was tasting exactly. It was already smeared on the top bun, so it wasn’t like I could avoid it if I really didn’t like it. The sauce wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t have missed out on anything if I never got the sauce. The burger did remain intact for the most part and didn’t break apart from the first few bites. They leave the tomato, lettuce and onion under the top bun so you’ll have to build somewhat assemble your own burger.
The waitress and staff were friendly. I didn’t feel rushed but at times I felt that attention was a bit lacking. The food did took longer than one would expect for a burger, especially when the place isn’t packed with people. Overall, a decent place to eat if you’re not in a rush. They do carry food choices that span beyond burgers and fries.

This is a really nice restaurant/​sports bar with a great outdoor space for dining.
My friend and I were specifically looking for a place that had an outdoor area, and her daughters suggested this place.
Food is American pub style, the Grille serves appetizers and very nice entrees. We started out with the scallops wrapped in bacon (delicious), I had a NY steak, which was also good and my friend had fish (which she liked very much). Our server was very pleasant and attentive, the pace of service was just right.
Prices are reasonable. There’s a bar area in front, and a dining room in the back. There’s also a very nice enclosed outdoors area for dining, where we chose to eat.
You’ll have a very pleasant experience if you decide to have dinner at the Grille on a warm summery night.

Food is ok. Last time I was there they couldn’t even make me a apple martini! Was to) d they didn’t have the mixing?! Gave me a horrible Cosmo instead. They cater to regulars only.

This place gets my 5 stars because of the Maryland crab cakes. Honestly I went here about 2 months ago and I still think about the crab cakes! They were the best I have ever had. Please come here for them, you won’t be disappointed!

The food was alright. The service was bad. My girl and I started with the pirogies. The pirogies were the the absolute highlight of the meal. I had the turkey burger. It was not impressive. My girl friend had the Santa Fe Steak wrap. I tried some of her meal and it was good.

I usually prefer to hang out in the city rather than Brooklyn but I’m glad my cousin lured me into her neighborhood otherwise I wouldn’t have found this chill/​awesome bar. I came here LATE Sunday night and they were still serving drinks. I called prior before arrival to see what time they closed and a gentleman answered and said «We stop serving till the last person stops having fun!» Hahah pretty dope answer dude, much respect! The bartender was very nice he mentioned that they were having (certain) beer specials for about $ 4. Instead, I got myself a blue moon which was ONLY $ 5, a tad bit difficult to find those prices in the city! Overall I’m glad I ventured out and now I have a bar closer to home that I can visit! They also have a juke box for all the music lovers out there and T.V.s for all the sports fanatic!

My Fiancée and I were looking to try something new in the neighborhood. We saw this place on grubhub and thought we would give it a try. They didn’t get anything right.
First off, apparently their menu on grub hub is incorrect because our soup that we ordered isn’t on their menu. After they call to get that sorted out, one of our items is incorrect, and they made a big deal over us wanting our money back for the incorrect item, which I don’t feel is that wrong to ask for. We had to wait an additional hour just to get our money back for the incorrect item. Their delivery guy waited in the building for 20 minutes before calling to see where the apartment was, which resulted in the one thing that was correct being cold.

I came to Yellow Hook with a coupe of friends for dinner and drinks before the holidays. We came in on a Friday night about 930pm. The front of the bar was packed, but we were seated quick because the back only had a couple of tables seated.
It’s a small menu at Yellow Hook, so I ordered the chicken & cheese quesadilla, it was good.
The reason for the 3 stars is because our waitress wasn’t too friendly, asking her for anything felt uncomfortable. Other than that, Yellow Hook was a fun time and had good food and drinks!

I’ve only been here once. I really like the food here. There was live entertainment — Irish folk music being played.
It was nice to see people be lively and so happy. The only thing that could be improved is the way the servers sat us. We waited more than 10 mins to be sat, and when someone sat us, they forgot us for another 20 mins. We flagged down whoever passed by.
The person who sat us… The person who took our order and the person who waited on us were all different people.
I was sure, now that i wasnt going to have a bad time at this place and give a horrible review… but thankfully, the food made up for it!
As an app, we had the calamari to share. My friend had spicy buffalo chicken wings. My boyfriend had the chicken rollatini which was delicious! I had the yellow hook burger. The fries are soooo good!!! I had their mac and cheese on the side, and oh my goodness… i was in heaven! Downed a blue moon with everything. Sooooo good!
I will come give this place another shot. Love the food!

Service is good. Food is disgusting. Stopped by to watch FIFA semi finals. Has ordered guaq& chips– disgusting. Frozen spicy almost brown guaq. Spicy. Uneatable chips– soggy with oil. Salsa is same disgusting– guaq is more spicy.
So whn we asked to reorder– had no problem with it– nice stuff. Got disco fries. Guess its the style of the place. Soggy fies. Tastes blunt with american unmelted cheese on top. Whoever wrote tht its a good place– just dont eat here.

This place is definitely a cool spot. The food is good here and so are the drinks. They have a variety of things from burgers to fish to steak you really cant go wrong. I like the set up of this place. They have TV’s in good eye view to watch sporting events. They have outdoor seating which is large and spacious. They also have the bar area and then towards the back they have private seating if you are there for dinner. Whatever your preference theres tons of different places to sit. Ive had many different dishes here and been satisfied every time. The drinks are good too, John is the best bartender in Brooklyn!!!

Bay Ridge Neighborhood Chill Feeling-​good BAR.

When I lived in Bay Ridge, this was always my go to spot for dinner and drinks. They have the best pork chops I’ve ever tasted, but the rest of the food they serve is average. The drink selection is good and the bar environment is friendly. The bartender doesn’t leave you waiting for long, so you don’t have to jump over the bar and beg for a refill. A lot of times, they’ll have live music and that’s definitely nice if you’re out for drinks. However, if you’re just going to eat dinner, you can still hear the band at full volume… and that gets kind of obnoxious. I don’t like to scream over the table to make conversation. They have outside seating when the weather permits, so this is a bonus.
Like I said, I used to go there all the time when I lived within walking distance. Now that I’m in Bensonhurst (which is only one neighborhood away), I don’t go out of my way to go there.

Gross food.
It’s gets 1 star because its in a nice location and you can eat outside with a beer and people watch. Other than that there’s nothing good about this place. Beer isn’t even that cheap.

I’ve come here a couple of times and every time I come I am always disappointed (when it comes to the food). I kept trying because people have recommended this spot, but if you ask me in regards to the food, uhm not much to say. Had the fried calamari, it was so chewy and had no crunchiness to it at all. I couldn’t even get it down my throat. The chicken wings, had nothing to offer for me and your talking about me, the girl who searches for wing spots and wing specials. I’ve also tried their yellow hook burger and still, not a fan. Maybe I’m just ordering the wrong things, but when it comes to the food, they have failed me several times.
If you are going for drinks, they do have a nice ambiance and outdoor seating. Nice place to go get drinks with friends and enjoy the summer weather.
The service I would say is inconsistent, sometimes I have gotten friendly and accommodating service, while there were times when I had to wait for so long just to get my check.

been here a few times but lunch today caused me to write a review. food is blah. with so many other choices in bay ridge yellow hook leaves something to be desired.

steak tidbits — steak is too chewy. overcooked
grilled chicken and mozz sandwich — decent but for 11.95 id much rather go to paneantico or peppinos in the neighborhood
service — with the place almost empty he was extremely inattentive but polite. ive had similar experiences with the wait staff here before. they need some help on learning how to not let there customers choke because no one is around to refill their drink.
drinks are hit or miss when ordering from a table. when ive sat at the bar ive been pleased especially after conversing with the bartender. Cool guy.
