Myrna/​Woof Meow is fantastic! I used the cat sitting service for about a week while I was home for the holidays. There was a $ 15 upcharge for Christmas Day, which is absolutely reasonable (and, honestly, much less than I thought it would be).
After I requested a quote, she stopped by for a quick visit to meet the cat & get all the details ironed out. She updated me every couple of days with photos of the cat during her visits, and I returned to a tidy apartment and happy kitty.
A lot of places I found during my search for a cat sitter seemed to be kind of shady operations/​well-​meaning people who may or may not show up since they know you’ll never know the difference, so I’m SO glad I found Myrna! Would absolutely recommend, and will definitely be hiring her again in the future.

We used Woof Meow over the holidays and they were wonderful! Nancy came by to pick up keys and meet our cat — something no other service has ever done in the past. She was wonderful — great communication and super conscientious. She texted from our apartment and sent pics of the cat when she visited. Our cat has chronic eye problems and she cleaned out his eyes without us mentioning/​asking and did a better job at it than we ever have.
These guys are the very BEST.

I used WoofMeow’s services this past Thanksgiving week and I am extremely happy with the decision! My girlfriend and I were in a last minute situation where we needed someone to care for our kitten (Gregory).
Gregory is very young so not only needed the regular care but also medicine administration and as much play and contact as possible. I wanted to make sure someone wouldn’t just come in for 5 minutes and leave. Myrna and Nancy went above and beyond by sending daily photos and videos as well as regular updates.
Since this was so last minute I really had to go on trust by letting a stranger into my apartment and I knew during our initial meet and greet with Gregory that I could trust them. They are friendly animal lovers with a very professional demeanor. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be bringing them back to care for lil G.

Myrna is a wonderful cat sitter. She is professional, attentive and very communicative. She sends pics of my cat Atlas each time she checks in with him to make me feel at ease. She’s great!

Myrna, owner woof. meow has been my cat sitter for nearly 5 years and with 2 special needs cats. She is super accommodating of my frequent last minute requests, is always available with short notice. I never worry about her taking care of my cat or being in my home. She treats my building staff, apartment and cat with kindness and care. Highly recommend and especially if you have a pet that takes medication or has special needs or accommodations. Myrna is super knowledgeable and follows all my crazy notes.

When we went on vacation this summer, Myrna took care of our 2 older kitties (Simone and Minous), who both have medical issues and require meds, shots and lots of special attention. She was fantastic. She paid attention to every detail, communicated regularly and she’s just all round a professional. Not to mention, she’s genuine and she’s got a touch of spunk that’s fun to be around. I’d definitely trust her with my kitties when we go on our next trip.

Myrna was amazing! She is a lifesaver. I needed a weekend, overnight sitter for my 10yr old German Shepard, Gretel. Myrna made time out of her busy schedule to do a meet & greet with Gretel and I first. Myrna is very professional and has an amazing disposition. She kept her eyes on G and maintained her senior dog schedule of food and medication during my departure. She kept me updated with texts & photos. It was really wonderful to be able to trust and have Myrna stay at my home and keep watch over my girl. Myrna was truly wonderful with Gretel. Highest recommendations!

I’ve been a woof. meow customer for the past three years. The first couple of years, I used Myrna’s dog-​walking service…(Myrna is the owner, btw). She is reliable, trustworthy, friendly and loving to my boys Duncan and Gizmo. For the first time I used woof. meow to board my babies for 5 days and 4 nights. I was nervous because I never left them with anyone before. But anyway, Myrna helped me feel at ease leaving them and even allowed and encouraged me to bring their toys, blankets, treats (anything to make them feel comfortable) and even their chicken and peas that required stove-​top preparation! Myrna took care of my babies the way I do. My babies felt right at home with her. I will continue using her services and definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take care of their pets while they’re gone.

I’ve been a client of Woof Meow’s before it had a company name. Myrna has been my sitter and walker for the last several years. She has a NY’er grit with a Cali vibe. She started with my 3 tabby kittens when I was living in Brooklyn. She would visit to feed, change litter boxes and give Noname (Japanese) her twice daily shots. My ex and I relied on her so frequently that we gave her a key. When we would travel Myrna would stay at our home to avoid agitating our three babies. When I adopted my terrier Jar Jar Tinks, Myrna became my go to walker. I was afraid I’d lost her to my ex when I moved, but Myrna is awesome enough to shuffle between our homes as needed.
I appreciate her attention to detail, honesty and professionalism. My kittens, puppy, ex and I consider her family. If my kids didn’t love her I would have moved on years ago. As a parent with a sickly kitten, it was hard to entrust a stranger initially to such an important task. She loves them as if they were her own clan. Myrna has my trust and I value her tender touch when it comes to my kids. She has an excellent disposition for handling even my prissy lady Bags. She follows the few rules there might be, tolerates my constant check in texts and my ex’s consistently hectic schedule.
Go ahead and hire her, but it better not conflict with my needs or else…

Myrna is a great cat-​sitter. Always on time, and also listens to the special instructions of our specific situation. We have a cat we adopted from the streets who has food anxiety and one who does not. She has been very good at feeding them on time and following instructions so that one doesn’t eat the fold of the other. Also, she does follow ups with us by sending us pictures.

I was very pleased with Myrna’s services. She seemed very happy to dog sit my 13 year old Yorskshire Terrier. She kept me updated with him while I was out of town for the weekend. I would definitely recommend her. She is truly a pet lover.

Myrna is great and I am so happy to have found her upon moving to NYC after having my old cat sitter for years in SF. She is reliable, professional, and very caring about her work. She sends me emails letting me know how my cat is, in addition to pictures which is so awesome. Would highly recommend her!

Myrna, owner of Woof Meow, is excellent. I have been trusting Myrna to care for my cat for over a year now. If I need to leave town overnight or for a week, Myrna is the only person I trust to care for her… and I am truly a Type-​A, nervous, overly protective pet parent when it comes to other people looking after my pets. My cat Lilah is extremely shy with strangers. After a few of the visits, she warmed right up to Myrna, who was very patient and really took the time to make Lilah feel safe, play with her, etc. Now when Myrna comes for a visit, rather than hiding, she greets her and demands her food with a meow.
I don’t like having to leaver her alone, but I know that when I cant be there myself, Myrna is the next best thing. Over the past year I have gone from being crazy-​nervous about leaving her overnight to being confident that Lilah has someone she knows and trusts to chill with her, feed her, clean the litter box, and play twice a day. Myrna loves animals, and they love her.
I will add that Myrna has helped me in some serious pinches. About four months ago I got a puppy. After having her only one month, I needed to leave town overnight with almost no notice. Scarlett the puppy didn’t have all of her shots yet, so boarding was out of the question. In a total panic I called Myrna, who agreed to stay overnight at my apartment with the animals… on her birthday. Can’t find someone more devoted than that.
My pets love her. I trust her. She’s there when I need her, and does a great job.
