I love the owners and I absolutely love the food.

Even though I’m more about going out to the city still pretty cool place for a Sunday night. Was watching Stanley Cup Final. good beer and food choices. Pretty cool outdoor area in the back.

Five stars for the food, the service, great beers and TVs. 1 star for the giant cheetah that ran through the restaurant and mauled my brother George. George managed to fight the cheetah away with a Homemade whip and one of the bar stools. Try the totchos!

Recently had a private party at WC for my son’s college graduation. Steve, Dan and Sue all went above and beyond to make it a great event. The backyard is really nice and has tv out there. We had open bar for 3 hours and we had a buffet that was unbelievable — macaroni and cheese, 3 types of wings, ribs, great salad with beans, avocado and tomato and dips and chips. Plenty of food and plenty of wine and beer available. We had all the tvs on, great music and plenty of seating by having the party during the evening (5:00 — 8:00). We were all having so much fun we stayed to watch the hockey game! Great venue for a party and all my son’s guests really enjoyed it. See Steve for more information.

Windy city is great! The brothers who own it are the nicest guys in the world. I wish they had a better selection of hard alcohol but still one of my favorite bars in bay ridge.

Great bar. Awesome hockey atmosphere with good food. Backyard area and lots of TVs with the occasional beer pong tournament.

Very nice and laid back place, lots of fun, keep in mind this is a Chicago themed bar, so no domestic beers available. Would definitely visit again.

Extremely laid back, cool little sports bar. Knowing it was a Blackhawks bar, I was a bit skeptical as I know they are seriously hardcore fans and wasn’t sure what the attitude towards the Rangers would be. But they have a little NYR flag up out front, and they were showing the game, so that’s good enough for me. I’m not a hardcore Rangers fan by any means, but I really don’t dig a YEAH BRO (!!!) sports bar kind of atmosphere; and that wasn’t the case here.
Food was actually a big surprise to me. Their wings are now my favorite in Bay Ridge. Everyone is historically nuts for Kettle Black’s wings but I always found them just alright; little too saucy and over-​fried at times. Windy City nailed it. The totchoes (tater tot nacho-​style) were fantastic and the cheesesteak sliders were absolutely perfect; bar food with a spin is always delightful when they actually nail it. Above average beer selection on top of the adventurous-​but-​successful menu, and it’s a home-​run of an establishment.
I would have a beer board listed up, but that was my only complaint. Also, this was for early on a weekend and our goal was to eat a bit, hang out and move on. As I’ve heard it gets packed later on, your experience may vary. I’d be curious to see what it ‘s like in full-​blown busy bar mode and will check it out soon enough.

Stumbled across this place on a random Tuesday night in the summer. I had originally met up with an old friend to catch up, and what we I had intended to be a bar crawl led to us calling it quits after bar #2: Windy City. The excellent food and $ 15 buckets, as well as that night I have a hard time remembering, have made me a regular here. I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences and plan to continue coming back for more. Dan, you are the man

They had about 20 taps and none of them was an IPA. Asked for a wine instead because there is no substitute for an IPA, but turns out they don’t have wine either. Not impressed.

Food is amazing bar food.
The Italian wings are fantastic and I love the chill dog

This place is a hockey bar. The atmosphere is welcoming and you can tell it thrives off of a continual local consumer base. The liquor selection is limited but the beer selection has to be around 25 taps with 20 of them rotating. The core fan base consists of NYC fans but hasn’t objected to any other sport event or team when I have requested to view them on one of their 10+ tvs. They provide sound for the popular consensus game or during non sporting event hours there is a jukebox available, typically playing tunes of the early 2000’s with a mix of rap, rock, hall and Oates, and anything else. This bar offers no judgements, you can’t dress to nice or too casual. Seating options make it acceptable for children as the front area is mostly guarded with a 4 ft wall, the back patio also provides and area to escape from the noise and enjoy food and beverage with family. The food is made quick but it is evident that it was prepared with quality throughout the day. They offer items such as sliders, wings, a large chicken salad with an assortment of toppings, steak skewers, and a simple baskets of fries. If you enjoy good customer service, a local feeling, and selection of beer, this is your place. It’s owned and operated by a family and they are more than welcoming to all.

If your sports isn’t Honkey they might air your game, but they won’t devote the audio to your non-​hokey game.
I had to sit and listen to the NHL draft (super boring) while trying to focus on the soccer match between China and the USA. The hokey draft is possibly the most boring thing to watch on tv, I still can’t believe they didn’t devote audio to the World Cup in Canada.
The bar is clean and big enough to hold crowds of people. It was a nice summer evening, so they opened the doors to the street which was nice.
The fact that they wouldn’t take their coverage off the NHL draft and dissed team USA playing in the world cup earned them a 3 star review.

A long awaited oasis for a Chicagoan, transplant or just passionate sports fan of the greatest sports city in the world. I’m all in for my Blackhawks and this is the place to watch ‘em get it done!!!
OK all fist pumping sports talk aside WCAH is a fun night out if you want to watch a Chicago game. The food is not too off the hook, its your basic pub fare but its hearty damn good and served with a smile. We ordered 40 wings for the table, 4 different flavors and all were great. They have a unique spin on wings in one case by offering «Italian Wings». We each got a different main course and all were satisfied. The salads were delish as were the sliders but with out a doubt the star of the night (next to the Hawks) were those nasty durty durty tater-tots…whoa mama those lil sumbitches were AMAZING. Each of us were stunned at how goldeny crispy and yummy they were. Whoda thought tater-​tots would ever get this kind of mention on Unilocal?
The staff were super nice, table was constantly attended to and food came out quickly. Will certainly be back.

I went in this place to have some beers and stuff like that. Then when I sat down and asked the bartender for a beer, he was like, sure.
I sat there and drank that beer he gave me and after it was all gone, he gave me another one.
All in all, it’s basically like, the Channing Tatum of bars. Which is totally a good thing.

Friendly staff, great great craft brew selection and pretty good bar food! Tons of TVs playing all major sporting events. Several booths and tables for larger parties if you wanna gather for the game.
2 for 1 happy hour till 7p I think so definitely worth going in and trying out some of the beers they have rotating through on tap.
Wings, nachos, and sliders were all delicious and would definitely order then again.
If I lived closer I’d definitely be a regular! Seems like there’s a hockey watching crowd there most nights but I’ve been for basketball and baseball games too. Not to loud so you can still have a conversation if you want. Great spot for the neighborhood and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who’s thirsty… for beer that is.

Came here on a saturday evening. I’ve heard a lot of hype about their wings so I wanted to try them out.
I ordered 10 bbq and 10 hot wings. The hot wings tasted better than the bbq. But the wings were mediocre. Nothing spectacular. I was actually more excited to order the Ommegang Game if Thrones beer «Valar Morghulis». That, pretty much made my night. I also had the chicken totchos. Those were good. They were tater tots topped with chicken and stuff put in nachos. Hence, the name. Again, nothing spectacular.
I’d like to give this place another try, though.

Windy City Ale is a cool place to chill and enjoy some drinks and appetizers.
They have the doors that flip out wide open so you cant help but see right inside. Its very welcoming. The food here is actually pretty good to my surprise. We had chicken wings, chicken totchoes, and the cheesesteak sliders with fries. The cheese steak wasnt too bad. The chicken totchoes are amazeee!!! This is a dish of tatar tots topped with cheese salsa and all that good stuff that you’d find on loaded nachos. Pretty cool concept, definitely not something that Id ever think of. The bartenders are cool as well. If your ever in the neighborhood stop by and grab a bite!

A-​Ok folks!
I don’t really go to sports bars and am a newbie when it comes to drinking BEER. I’m still discovering what I like and don’t like. We came here on Friday around 3:30 p.m. after work just to relax. There’s plenty of T.V.‘s so I was watching the Sochi Olympics, a movie on comedy central, and soccer all at the samet time. There were probably 15 people in the bar at this time, so I was able to have some downtime with my husband and have a conversation without talk-​screaming at each other. LOL.
They seem to have about 20 taps to choose from and the bartender says they change their selection frequently.
