I love this place. This was the first place we checked out when we first moved into the area. So friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious with a cheap price tag.

Good, basic, Brooklyn diner. Friendly folks on both sides of the counter. When you just want some good food… no latte and no kale(hard to find in the Slope these days!)

I really enjoyed breakfast here. It’s crowded so you know it’s good. It’s not overly crowded though so you can actually walk in and get a table immediately. The service is fast and the food is absolutely delicious! I had a Greek omelette with tater tots but it was difficult to choose because the entire menu sounds delicious. It’s a large menu — but well laid out — so you have tons of options but you won’t get lost in them. I did receive a fork with some crud on it but the waiter immediately took it away and gave me clean utensils. He had a classic brooklyn accent so the place really felt like home. For practical matters, the restroom is private and very clean. Somebody’s got to review such an excellent restroom!

I’ve been to the Windsor Café a few times since my last review — which was for delivery only, and I guess it’s unfair to judge a diner solely on delivery. so let’s fix things. if you know me, you know that I love a good diner. Windsor has a brunch menu and the drinks are actually good, but they also have your diner standbys. my most recent time here — yesterday — I actually got the hot open-faced turkey sandwich again, and it was just as good as I recall. I’ve also had some great Mediterranean chicken wraps here. the chicken and rice soup doesn’t taste like Campbell’s or Progresso, it’s the real deal here. definitely what I needed during the sub-zero temperatures this Sunday! the service is great and friendly. if there’s a line, well, it’s worth the wait.

Wandered around Prospect Park area with a date, looking for food before a movie. After passing by twice, decided to try the place out. Was immediately greeted and served by Nick. This gentleman was friendly, and perfectly attentive without being excessive. Ordered a Windsor Burger & Bacon Cheese Burger Deluxe. Was impressed by portions/quality of the food and was no longer a skeptic after randomly choosing this place. Great service/good food. Would return again.

Through the Picturesque Windows of Windsor Café As I sat down at the familiar table next to the picturesque window of Windsor Café, through the painted spring flowers on the glass panes, I saw the blonde building of the Catholic school across the street. The shadows of a summer oak tree on the building were gradually fading as the evening approached. A tall Asian lady with her pony-like white dog walked passed the window as the spirited waitress brought me the dinner. The grilled chicken salad is a new favorite of mine. The strips of chicken had a smoky taste. They were fresh and moist. Their timing was just right. They spread over a bed of mixed greens and slices of red bell pepper. Croutons were sprinkled over the square white porcelain plate. Although I relished the image of the«tropical landscape» in front of me, I didn’t hesitate to demolish it. It was one healthy meal. The well-read slender waitress came to offer more coffee. I sipped the freshly brewed decaf as I looked at the photos of Yogi Berra and of the park installation«The Gates» by Christo and Jean Claude on the natural brick wall across. I knew I was in good company after a long day by the easel.

Everything I got here was AMAZING. Huge portions and really good prices, especially for New York. The calypso smoothie was especially good. Fast service, really nice people working here, and just a really cute environment. I wish I lived around here so I could come back more often!!!

This is a pretty good diner with great service and a wonderful attitude toward children. We come here regularly with our infant twins. They make a mess. They throw up. They throw food. And these guys are super friendly and super nice about everything. We love coming here and recommend that you bring your family here as well.

Great little diner in Windsor terrace! They have a large menu BUT I have only been there for breakfast. My favorite is the fruit tutty belgian waffle! Freshly made belgian waffle, loaded with tons of strawberries, bananas(+/-raisins) and coated with powdered sugar(and whipped cream if you so desire)! They offer Brunch specials on the weekends served with mimosa or sangria. Looking forward to trying that out soon. I don’t know if they have liquor but they have beer and wine :) The tables are kind of close together and can be a tad uncomfortable. I will def continue to visit this venue :)

A nice diner with a pretty good tasting peanut butta banana shake. They gave me the xtra in anotha cup– nice! Got the disco fries with mozzarella insteada cheddar. Comes with gravy. Pretty good and is basically poutine which I absolutely adore. My compadre got the blt. Looked standard, no complaints from him but honestly he will eat anything and pretty much likey. Oh and I almost forgot, got the linzer cookie on the counter. They put alotta powdered sugar on too which I loved and it was basically like a huge thick italian style cookie. Yummo!

Bad experience this morning. Went with my 3 kids. They seated 2 tables that arrived after us. Food came very slowly and was pretty tasteless when it arrived. It was busy but they have to better with the service.

To the person that ordered a martini — please leave Windsor Café(and Unilocal, altogether). This place rules — never a bad meal here. Omelettes are huge and they actually listen to your weird requests(home fries well-done, please!). Your coffee cup is always full. Sides of bacon come with 6 slices, so yeah. The burgers are SO juicy and delicious, the fries are awesome(those crispy ones with slight seasoning that everyone loves and can never find). Delivery is always fast as hell, but I live a block away, so nevermind. Everyone that works here is so sweet and friendly! Credit card minimum of $ 15, so you almost always have to buy a cookie on the way out :) No jalapeños though??? :-(
