I normally work on Saturdays so I never got a chance to make it to Smorgusborg until today (when I played hooky =)). It was SO WORTH IT because I got to try We Rub You korean bulgogi sliders. I am Korean and can verify the meat is the real deal in flavor. However, what really put it over the top were the condiments on both the pork and beef (perilla chimicurri, kimchi, and cucumber on the pork and apple/​sesame coleslaw and cilantro on the beef). The bun, from Amy’s Bakery, was soft and chewy and not so dense you felt full after eating it.
I definitely plan on playing hooky more often so I can make it down here and eat these sliders, HEAVEN in my MOUTH.

I love We Rub You. …to death. I dream about these buns filled with beef marinated in their special sauce (which they also sell) and the dressing on top. The meat is tender, sliced thin, spicy, sweety, just every taste bud i have is fullfilled. I always buy at least two while I am there and take two home because I crave them so much. Girls I only wish you had a restaurant or a food truck that I could follow because I would be there all the time.

Plentiful portions of well seasoned, mouth watering bulgogi stuffed between soft brioche buns topped with some crunchy cabbage. That’s what to expect from a bulgogi burger from this cute little street vendor at Smorgasboard, Bklyn. Lines can be long, but service is friendly and the food is worth it.
Bought the spicy korean sauce for future home cooking, so will update on that later!!! :)

LOVE the apple coleslaw & bbq beef combination. Take it from a Korean, I’m not usually fond of fusion dishes, but the meat was authentic and this was a great mix of flavors.
