Business Owner

Born and raised in Paris, France, Vlad is now a New York City based photographer specializing in street, food, music, fashion photography and documentary-​style filmmaking. Often working with a variety of clients, Vlad is always open to accept new challenges and meet artists with whom he can collaborate.

Vladimir furthered his studies at the New York Film Academy. Thus far throughout his career, Vlad has shot for NYTimes, WSJ, L’Oreal, Vogue, Bravo, Über, Morgan Stanley and many more. Prior to dedicating his full schedule to imagery, Vlad worked for Apple Inc, mastering his communication, troubleshooting and leadership skills. Vlad is open to new opportunities around the world and ready to share his own vast network to drive his clients to success.

Patient, Professional, and knows how to get a great shot. I had Vlad take headshots for me and within a few days they were ready and looked amazing.
I’m actually really nitpicky and annoyingly meticulous when it comes to aesthetics. So I changed outfits half a dozen times and had him reshoot so I could adjust the smallest things.
The worst part about his photos for me, was that they ALL came out AWESOME, so it was hard to pick which shots to use!

Two words that describe Vladimir: talented professional. For my fiancé’s 30th bday I had one hell of a time finding a photographer– some were unresponsive, some were unreasonable and others just not talented… Then I found Vlad (thanks fellow Unilocalers). From the first email exchange I knew I found what I was looking for! He was quick to reply, flexible and extremely professional. His style was clear in his portfolio and it was exactly what I needed– someone to capture the moment not make my guests pose every 20 seconds. He showed up to the venue before us to set up, and was a total professional the entire time. The best part (if you need one)??? I had stunning photos emailed to me within a week– hello!!! Unheard of!
We are planning our wedding now, obviously he is our first choice!

I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist @ Olsen Shiatsu & Massage. Vlad did a set of photos to help me show off my new clinic on West 29th Street. He did a spectacular job showing the lighting, mood, serenity of the clinic, and some fabulous shots of my cupping therapy. Some of his work is shown on my Unilocal page if you’d like to see samples. Vlad is an incredibly talented photographer. He has seemingly unending patience with his clients, dedication to his craft and a thirst for learning more about photography.

Vladimir worked with us on the IndianRaga Fellowship project in Manhattan over a week-​long period that included coverage of moments from Master Classes, Audio Recording, Video Shoots and general collaboration amongst musicians. Working with him made us realize the value of investing in a professional photographer for any project.
Not only is Vlad very professional and great at his work, but he was also immensely flexible and invested in the project. On one of the occasions, he stayed up till 5 am with us at the shoot just because it meant a lot for one of the musicians to have their shoot pictures taken from that segment.
